Looks to have legs Joe, I'm in.. :hi:TraderJoeForex » Thu Sep 29, 2016 11:16 am wrote:
Here's an example from my GJ trade last night. I couldn't hold until the M15 colour change as was going to bed after a long journey. The 55pip bite I got was only half what was on offer with these rules and that's just one pair!

Joe what lot sizing are you proposing per pair? One lot size does not fit all?TraderJoeForex » Thu Sep 29, 2016 10:40 am wrote:
I would suggest the following:
Trade all pairs
Only one trade per day per pair
Only trade once the signal conditions are first met following the relevant session open with option to turn individual sessions on or off for trading.
Signal conditions are first M15 bar closed with M15, H1 and H4 SuperSlope changed colour.
No SL or TP but exit once M15 Superslope closes opposite colour and/or optional basket close
Dynamic lot sizing based on ATR
....thoughts?

You are a star Mathias, many thanks... :hi:MathiasJ » Thu Sep 29, 2016 11:27 am wrote:
Hi!
I think this can be done using my EA already today.
I will come back with more info.
The only thing I have to add is the condition "Only one trade per day per pair", but one way to handle that is to require a long delaytime between trades of same pair and in that case it is already there.

Eyeballing some charts, I would assume double what 'we' used should be good?Zennor » Thu Sep 29, 2016 10:36 am wrote:Joe what lot sizing are you proposing per pair? One lot size does not fit all?

Brilliant, let's all work together on this. Will wait for your proposed set file. CheersMathiasJ » Thu Sep 29, 2016 10:27 am wrote:

Looks like Mathias has first shot at what we need and I agree Dashboard EA is the only sensible way to go for multipair.Gertje » Thu Sep 29, 2016 10:21 am wrote: Great!
With sensible lotsizing, that could be 0.5% on itself....![]()
I'm in too with some cash!
A dashboard is the only requirement I have.
I hate 28 charts with indi's running amok.

What's the reason for only 1 trade per pair/ day?
Looking at GBPJPY today we could have;
- 90.6 pips
- 28.6 pips
and possibly another trade soon when H1 turns green again.

Dynamic lot sizing is definitely the way to go. Since this is essentially a scalping strategy only trading in the direction of H4 then for my small account I would be happy with approx. 0.5% risk per H4 ATRZennor » Thu Sep 29, 2016 10:36 am wrote:

e.g. with £1000 the most volatile pairs would be 0.01, the CHF pairs would be around 0.03/0.04 and the rest of the pack around 0.02. I'd say that ensures max risk, drawdown and potential profit would be approx. 3% per session. So a user choice of % risk per H4 ATR would be great?

That looks a very sound plan and very much in line with what I was thinking.TraderJoeForex » Thu Sep 29, 2016 12:18 pm wrote:
