Second... And I have suggested this previously, but it seems to go ignored or unnoticed... I think that if we could have a Percentage Risk setting Per Basket, or a Dollar Value per Basket risk setting, this would afford us the opportunity to risk the same amount of money on each basket, regardless of the number of currencies we are trading for each basket... This would help significantly in my opinion to maximize the profit potential.

After a scary start to the London session I too am happy to report a successful basket close at 377pips. While I haven't had as a spectacular run as many of you, I began trading NB on the 16th, and started with Shelley last Monday the results I've achieved have for me, been nothing short of spectacular when I consider my achievements of the last 18 months.
My heartfelt thanks to NB, Steve and all the contributors who are working tirelessly to streamline and fine-tune the 10.2 system and the Shelley EA. You're all awesome and I wish I understood half of what you say......

As regards Jahill's 2nd point above, that's a feature I would like to use too if it's at all possible.

Just 5 minutes ago , I tried version 1k and version 1r (latest) of Shelley's EA.
Version 1k shows 12 entries and version 1r only 1.

You might have some of the new filters selected on 1r.

You can get the same thing out of v1r by simply changing slope confirmation tf to 1440 I believe... The M30 Confirmation is what is causing the significant drop in qualifying pairs.....

From post 1, to disable filters:

Trade confirmation filters
There are two of these:

1) Lower time frame Slope:
- set SlopeConfirmationTimeFrame to a chart timeframe. The default is M30.
- set SlopeConfirmationTimeFrame to zero to disable this filter.

2) TmaTrueTimeFrame is the chart time frame to check, defaulting to the H1. A zero value disables this filter.

I updated Shelley to v1r. It opened trades OK, but tades would close within a few seconds. I played with Basket send/close hour settings, but haven't been able to figure out how? Earlier virsion worked alright, though. I am on FXDD demo. Since the EA opens trades at the set time, I gues I know how to set the BasketSendHour, etc.

I'd appreciate if you could guide me how to fix my problem, please.

Have you tried to compile the EA and/or closed re-opened Empty4? Sometimes, I find that the ex4 doesn't come out automatically and we need to compile it. Give it a try and let us know.

5. Obviously the question of drawdown is an age old forex conundrum and everyone has a different risk profile. I think it's highly unlikely that any strategy/system/EA will ever be able to perform without drawdown...we each need to manage this as best we can for our own personal risk profile, by ensuring our lot sizes are proportionate to our balance and that we stick to trading by the rules (whichever they may be) and that we trade on demo until we are absolutely certain & confident in the system.

I read all your post in this thread and understand that you do not select any SL, is that correct?

In case such that the drawdown grow to a certain level that you consider, then you will close all orders assuming the loss or how you do it?

I had this last night as well. You have to be really careful with your inputs:

• - assume nothing. In post 1, I sometimes write that xxx is the default, forgetting that I changed the default during coding and forgot to change it back.
  - go through every input and make sure it reflects what you want to do.
  - save your edited inputs as set files. I have three, for London, New York and Asia.

My basket has remained in place this morning.
