HGI for beginners.

Only 2 questions ... I promise

- There are any place where i can find a manual for the recovery system?

- I'm using the HGI_V16.09 (pure) , the experienced people recommend any add on to this?

Forgive me if I asking again as I have been searching for the answer but nothing comes up.

Does HGI update past arrows or just the current one?

Meaning can arrows show up in a chart 30 bars back, after I refresh the chart? Or will it only update the current bar?

refreshing chart will always cause a recalculation, as it is a new initializing of the HGI

Thank you for the kind response Tommaso.

So refreshing the chart can place an arrow 30 or even 100 bars back? Of course this would mean extreme price movements if it happened I would imagine to paint an arrow that far back.

If that is true then visually back testing would not be an option.

Has anyone thought of having the indicator be refreshed every tick?
The reason I ask is if I compare my chart with yours it can look extremely different and is dependent on when someone refreshed the charts last.

If the indicator updates/refreshed automatically every tick then in theory we should have close or similar charts (dependent on broker, bar close time, etc.), correct?

backtesting with Empty4 is always not recommended, and indicators using TMA makes never sense to backtest, the indicator trades the now not the past..
do forward testing and learn how to use HGI with success, and before again asking questions, that have been asked before read this thread and the main thread, as I will remove in every other case again your posting rights..
