Isn`t it obvious?

There was a strong retrace around NFP, nothing special. This EA is successful in the direction on the trend and will fail if we will see the market going in the "wrong " direction.

The past three weeks were pure gold for this EA all pairs trending hundreds of Pips. This will end soon and then we will see big DD.

By the way, I would appreciate; if you will no call me "the guy", sounds a little bit disrespctful. Thank you.

Could anyone having success with this EA please post their settings? The versions are changing so fast that set files are not helpful.. For some reason my EA will not send out orders...
May I also suggest that the version name be included in the ea name so we don't have to attach it to find version number.

hi, i would like to summarize all "no trades" "to do" points here:
1. check you have EA smiley on
2. if you are updating, compile EA and attach to the chart;
3. check your "BasketSendHour" is few min behind the time on your PC clock if you try to fire it straight away;
4. check your "BasketSendHour" < "ComeWhatMayCLoseHour";
5. check you dont have currency suffix/prefix. if you do, go to metaeditor, find line:

I am the only one who had a all time NEGATIVE record today?

No, my day was much worse than that, but it was self-inflicted...

I had a crazy idea this morning. I said to myself, "Self, this thing seems to choose good pairs to trade, and the baskets win a high percentage of the time -- no matter what time of day you trade it. Soooo... what if we trade it CONTINUOUSLY??"

I made some mods to version 1r so it would open a new basket as soon as it closed the old one. Probably most of the time it will open a basket with the same pairs, but I thought it might adapt to market changes by dropping bad pairs & opening new ones. Plus I thought it would be very useful to see how it performed throughout the day.

So I watched it open and close a few small test baskets, and I was satisfied it worked, so I turned it loose with adaptive TP of 10 and adaptive SL of 12. (I wanted to give it a 50-50 shot of hitting TP or SL, and I gave the SL a bit of extra to handle entry spread.) Then I took off for several hours to attend some meetings.

I came back to a plaintive beeping sound. Something was amiss.

The first basket closed in 20 minutes with a loss; the second basket closed in 30 minutes with a win. So far so good. But after the second basket it went nuts, and started opening and immediately closing baskets -- taking the spread loss on every basket.

The unhappy beeping sound indicated that, about 5minutes before I got back, it ran out of money.

So in 4 1/2 hours I managed to lose 25,000 pips!! Beat THAT!

Thank God it's play money...

I'm not sure what the discrepancy is between my positive results this morning and anybody else's negative results... could be anything... settings? broker? EA version?? I have no idea... But I do know that I was trading WITH the M30 Slope filter ENABLED.... and I was out of the markets 30 minutes after NY open.....

I fixed my problem with the EA not sending any trades. Pretty sure it was SlopeConfirmationTimeFrame = 30. Probably filtering a bit too much so I disabled it and it seems to work.

Just so everyone knows, all my multi-pair bots add pair suffixes automatically. There is no need to add them manually.

I think it's obvious that a daily change in the TMA will take a long time........so maybe it would be great to use the lower TF for entries (already done) and the same lower TF for exits. But if we do that, maybe the entry should be when both TFs Slope are in agreement, and not only at a specefic hour.
