There are plenty of interesting levels here, it is not accident that price just can not make up its mind.
That does not mean price will go all along to the TP level (that I changed to 113.65 and 113.85) but I think a 50% retracement of the latest move down is not impossible. I am in green and the worst that can happen is a BE.

Edit: Look at the monthly chart first, then the weekly. Adding what I meant as 50% retracement as profit target, but you see I placed my TP levels below the line.

Another thing, I did expect the S&P to fall today along with the JPY going the other way. I checked my analysis and then I realized that I had screwed up my analysis on the dates and now we are not supposed to be after the first doji candle but after the second (due to a stupid measurement erro I made this mistake). Now I understand why we had two updays on the S&P. With the risk off environment, the JPY just could not get any stronger today. I do not expect much movement from the yen tomorrow and so the EURJPY should have the room to retrace a bit.

First time post from a new member but, long time (unprofitable) trader. I bumped into Captain's posts on another trading forum (ahem, the one where people are really mean to one another :smile: ). Inspired by Captain's posts, I registered here and began reading this thread. I'm familiar with levels and cycles from past years of study but, Captain's posts are bringing everything together in a cohesive form in my mind.

Following the logic laid out by him, I noticed last night what appears to be a BARF trade setting up on the NZD/USD H1. I followed it up thru the higher timeframes and see something that I think might be interesting to others. If I'm completely off base here, please tell me. Below are the charts that I just mapped out: NZD/USD - H1, D1, and W1.

One of the reasons this thread is so large is because so much info is repeated. What constitutes a bump and run formation has been posted numerous times and I will not review it for those unwilling to locate it, study it and put it to practice.

I have screwed it up on the EURUSD many times and got stuck in positions for the reason of getting married to the pair I did not like in the first place but I believe this time I am gonna be the one who skins the tricky bastard.

Edit: adding a more organized picture and pls refer to CJ's earlier posted chart on the pair. Ws on H and M TFs are being drawn simultaneously.

Hi CJ,

How we can explain that what happened today on the EUR/USD ? I remember you wrote that they prepared for a big up move. How you avoid these situations, you do not play on the market news?
