Hello.

I have uploaded version "f" of the EA to the first post. It contains some code fixes.

GENERAL WARNING: This EA is not forward tested for very long. Never use any new EA version on a live cash account without prior demo testing. Stick to your actual live version until you are convinced of the new versions profitability.

Hi Guys,

I have been testing HGBnDotty with a bit of a spin..please take note that these settings are not thumbsucked and forward tested over a period of time.. There is no grid .....I have two settings that I have tested and the most important is the first setting that I will post here the second setting, is very good but needs to be tested independantly, There is no lengthy drawdown and trades are resolved fairly quickly. Most important is that complex single sided offsets sort the losers out....

My results since yesterday....By the way I am now using HGBnDotty to control Rene and George's Mad trader Ea, Mathias's dashboard and Ghekos superslope Ea trades....The results are simply stunning...thanks Steve

I very simply use one magic number on all my Ea's and none of them have rights to control s/loss and take profit...HgbnDotty have sole proprierty rights for this...Anyway this would probably require an independant thread

The HGInDotty Ea that I have been using for this is:

Hi Steve and Domanov,

It is great to be part of this forum and only my pleasure..

Domanov, this is tested over multiple currencies. The idea would be to eliminate the worst performing pairs in time and run with only sufficient pairs in line with your equity...another thing we can play with is take profit and set it to 25 pips for example for each currency pair...quick in and out. My trades are started off with London open and usually the drawdown starts when I run it for the whole session so the idea would be to get out if you have a reasonable amount of profit on the table and restart with New York open. I do have comfort in the fact that single sided complex offsetting keeps me out of trouble more often than not and certainly better than I can do manually. I have not closed whole baskets manually yet but in hindsight this can be done.

I had the misfortune of having a power surge just after posting my results here yesterday and my computer is stuffed

so back to my little lap top. Luckily I can down load my set files here again

Anyway guys more ideas are welcome.

Edit: forgot to mention. If you want to run Hgbndotty in conjunction with Geko's superslope dash ea for example and you are Trading 5 currency pairs you will load hgbndotty on those 5 pairs. All must have the same magic number and you will have to disable the s/loss, and t/profit on the dash and let HgbnDotty take over the money management function. Will not carry on too much with that and more appropriate in its own thread.

Thanks for the amazing direction you've taken this. Sorry to hear about the power surge!!
As such, I've got a VPS I'm using to test HGBnDotty on a couple of instances of MT and it can run up to 10ish MTs, so would be happy to offer you acccess to it to run your testing while you're PC is guts up!!!

I am up and running now so all cool.

I have just opened a short while ago and have two trades open. A point of note. "TrendtimeframeCandleslookback" can be increased to get more trades. Not sure how last day or so has been with my computer outage...so will see.

Here's the thing. If you stop thinking for yourself then I stop thinking. I only grow from your thinking. We need each other..

Anyway here are my results since yesterday midway through London session:

I have just tried a setting with 4hrs as the trading time frame and 15 minutes the trend timeframe. Please note my thinking in this instance is very abstract and I have diverted from the normal way we follow..however once again these settings have been tested in advance and promising on the setfiles posted..this one is a little addition I want to start testing and from what I have seen with my setfiles could be a promising candidate.

Todays results not great so far but I am in the running and not on the backfoot..

It would be nice to see thoughts on s/losses and t/profit but so far complex Single sided offsets doing a good job.
