I have been using HGI for awhile now and am thankful for this!!

I have read the threads and know about the updating HGI everyone talks about. I would never change the indicator as it is perfect as is.

Can there be a way I can view what arrows showed up without it updating? The reason I ask is so i can manually look at the charts history on weekends to see if the trade was a good one or not? Can there be an option like this or a separate indicator? I think it would benefit many ppl as they can view what the indicator was saying during the history. When we load the chart on and we see history everything looks great but we don't know when the indicator was updated and when it was not.

You could take automatic screenshots at any given interval throughout the week or even a complete slow frame video. It would take time to review a slideshow or video at high speed but you will have the data.

I have some proprietery tools for this but I'm sure Google will find some freebies somewhere.

I know this is a ridiculously difficult concept for you thickies to grasp, but the only information held in the database for each candle is its: open price, high price, low price, close price. Bugger all else.

So, it is impossible to write an indi that recreates what HGI was showing at any point other than the open and close of a candle. I know this is difficult for you morons to grasp, but take a cold shower, book a week off work, lie down in a darkened room and give it some thought. Thinking will be a unique experience for some of you, so expect some odd sensations.

As for adding the facility to have some sort of 'permanent' signal drawn by HGI when it detects a signal, forget it. This 'permanent signal' will vanish the moment you shut down the chart - and anybody really think they will be able to keep the same chart open for several days, let alone weeks and months? Yeah. Right. Of course you will. The desire for this 'permanent' signal shows the usual clear lack of understanding of what HGI is about.

I do not do travel abroad. Unless I really have to, I do not even do travel here in the UK. I loathe travel. I do not even own a passport. Trust me guys, if Tommaso even hinted at adding such coding I would: obtain a passport; take my first ever flight to Switzerland; hunt him down; beat him up. Empty threat, obviously. Tomasso understands the futility of your idiotic request and so would never bother to even think about acceding to them.

So cretins, HGI is a remarkable piece of kit. Learn to use it as it is intended to be used and shut up about the other bollocks that is of value only in what passes for your tiny minds.

Note you have first to delete the older versions than to install the new versiones

Hi all, I just found this thread thru CJ and I am very exicited about todays results. I started trading 15 min. timeframe last night in asian and as of now have 317 pips locked in. I have finished the attached pdf book on HGI, HGI for beginners thread, and now on page 30 of the this HGI thread. I know I still have lots of info to go but I am excited.

So far I am learning and excited and honestly a little scared to post another question right now because I have so much more to go. Every where I read it says MA for 60 and 240 but never says if this is EMA or SMA or other. I am putting EMA as I imagine this is standard and if it was otherwise someone would of said.

I cant wait to continue to test HGI as weekends are very boring as I cant even look at the past data as it will not conclude any real time setups.

Right now reading the first 30 pages I see that Bob is travelling the world (NY, Iceland, London, etc.)

I wanted to say if you are ever in Chicago please let me know. Would love to greet you, buy you a beer, and give you a great big manly hug. I wonder if any traders using HGI are from the windy city?

I'm using it on the other side of Lake Michigan. With all the finance happening in Chicago, I'm sure more than a few are padding 7 figure jobs with this indie.
