Sorry for this but..

Why would you begin at 8am GMT today??

1. It's bank holiday today and tomorrow here in the UK (So there is NO London open today) everyone is at home..
2. The London open is at GMT +1 as it's BST here.

No wonder...

I think this is a valid point...we're looking to trigger & capture the initial upsurge in trading at the open of the session, so when there is a public holiday clearly there is no open, so we shouldn't be trading this session.

Too bad I forgot about the PH until after I had turned the EA loose

It does no harm to see what happens if we run the bot at times when the markets should be quiet.

Yes you are right and it just adds to our knowledge of how the EA/system works under different trading conditions.

Yep. Just loaded it onto a demo for the first time. Same thing here. UCad and UChf should be buys, but Woh has them as sells.

The first DebugPrint prints the correct values. The second DebugPrint (immediately after the first loop sets the values) prints the WRONG values. Sometimes all Buy, sometimes all Sell, but all the same.

I can't see what's wrong. Does anybody??

This will be my first post here, but I'm lurking the forums long time I've manually trading10.2 since the introduction, and I can say it's a really good system. I've seen this basket trading idea the end of last week, so I only started to test this since the afternoon. I'm in the process of reading through the forum I'm on the 40th page so there are some more comments to read, so maybe the thing I have in my mind have been answered/work in progress. English is not my mother language so I'll try to be as clear as I can

So I see that the DD is a problem when the EA open the trades during a retracement. I've been made attempts to trade correlations earlier and made some research on it. There was a forum at FF about this strategy, where Squalou posted an indicator named "Basket Profit 2 pairs". Squalou made this because no backtest could be done in Empty4 on multiple pairs. So with this indi you can set the time with a vertical line when you would take the trade and it shows the profit as a line diagram. I'm not a coder myself (I know a little about it), but I think it could be modified to use with this basket strategy too.

Here's my idea about the usage: when the EA would open the trades at the set time, it doesn't really open them, but instead it starting to monitor the price of the pairs in the basket and checks the overall performance. If the profit going into the negative then it waits till it's starting to rise again, and when it reaches zero (or there is a sign based on some mathematical formula I don't know, but shows that the profit is going up instead of down) then it sends the actual trade orders. Does it makes sense?
