Nanningbob 10.2 auto-trading EA

Hi all coders,

Purely using NN 10.2 I don't think there should have been trades like NZ sell or UCHF buy which this EA fired when mkt opened (Asian session). ....

I use the EA v1g and a short moment ago at 12.06.05 00:00 GMT+1 NB 10.2 fired simultaneously usdjpy sell and gbpusd sell trades:
usdjpy is >Weekly open 1, weekly open 2 is negative and price did not cross any Weekly Pivot
gbpusd is >Weekly open 1, weekly open 2 is negative and price did not cross any Weekly Pivot
Do I misunderstand or is there some problem? thanks for your help

Few observation points for Steve and other coders

1) The SL on this EA is at next S/R level. Can we add a few pips say 10-15 to it so we have little more cushion if price just touches those levels and continues the trend.
2) WPC trades should be at crossing or failure at levels instead of just touching them e.g. today price on EU was initially below weekly pivot but then closed above it but the EA took sell trade as soon as it hit the pivot instead of waiting for price fail at that level and then sell (which never happened though).So instead of no trade it sold and now sitting at a loss.
3) D1/H4 trades do not have a set TP
4) So far in last 5-6 trading days with this EA no BB trades.

Please consider these changes. People seem to be having more fun with Shelley and now Baluda and do not find this EA so exciting but this to me is the core.

I read your point there.

I agree on item 1. What you are saying on item 2 is, price has to close above pivot to trigger a buy and if price drops back below pivot, to sell. That means the ea has to be able to set: TRADE - Trend or SRF. Did I understand u correctly?

I think Shelly is good when used during trend continuation to make use of the momentum, but not so good on ranging or reversing trends.

As for Baluda, I am still testing it.

i have not been able to figure out what i have wrong. i only get a very few nb trades, and they all seem to be ranging trades. it has been running over a week and i see no trend trades. can someone please suggest what i might have wrong? half a dozen pairs, no clues in the experts log.

Look at the comment to see what type of trade NB took.
Dont't forget Trend trade can be taken at Pivot Cross or MA5 cross.

You're right, this EA is the core.

3) D1/H4 trades do not have a set TP -> if Slope > 0.8 or <.8 yes. BE and Jumping SL are forced

2) WPC trades should be at crossing -> it is but yes it could be only with 1 pip. May be a delta pips parameter should be great

But SL/TP for trend are so far on weekly / monthly R/S 1 or R/S 2 depending volatility, that's a delta pips parameter would be inoperant. Your account will be blow out before That's the big thing to resolve for NB 10.2 EA I think. Backtest prove that.

Are you running V1v ?

I have the same problem. I've been running this EA on FXDD & Cowboy IBFX demo for a while. As you described, there have been no other trade but range trades so far. Currently, there is only one "audjpy sell" trade opened.

Have you check all pair set file ?
MaxSpread OK ?
Nothing in Log ?

I found a bunch of "Cannot open file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Cowboy IBFX\Empty4 V3\experts\indicators\10.2 WeeklyOpenHistogram 2x1 4.29.ex4' on the EURJPYm (& other currency pairs),H4" messages on "Experts".

Otherwise, everything else seems to be OK: enough free margin, set files, Maxspread, etc.

By the way, I am running the EA on H4 charts with NB templet on.

I have similar problem with v1y, I have heaps of this message:

I have seen this issue in previous postings. I thought it had been resolved. Could you help to resolve this issue ?
