Shelley's multi-pair basket trader

Yep got it.. Looks like a good analysis as the basket is moving into profit already...

Up 200 pips now.

Bob's system is all about letting us know which pairs are heavily trending. It's up to us to choose when to get back in on the trend. From my experience with 10.2 the BEST time to re-enter a trending pair is when the 4H 5.1 MA gets hit (this setup is in the manual).

With Shelley we are seeing it work really well on certain days and not so well on others. I believe that if you can see some/most of the basket pairs hitting their 4H 5.1 MA then it's time to trigger Shelley.

This will also more than likely have your basket pairs at the opposite 1 HR TMA too and probably near the weekly pivots/support/resistance.

I'm still fine-tuning my entries (i entered a bit early this week for instance) but I'm getting better at knowing what to look for before triggering Shelley.

Yes, my entries on monday was too aggresive and had some DD and closed orders, but now, are AGAIN, back on track. I also need to fine tune my entries, eg, the return to 5.1 on H4 (Very golden indeed)

Let see how many pips we can gather by NY..

Also I think I could of targeted another 200-400 no problem as this is the beginning of the continuation with long term trend but that's just being stingy!

Just a prediction to classic Shelley traders who open with London - I have a feeling you are going to do well on this session due to the basket pairs being overextended to opposite H1 TMA.

Very good call Jemook, unfortunately I was out only just got in so missed that one, I'm like you manually setting Shelley, not just set to go on a certain time each session/day.

why 5.1 ? dou you speak about MA period 5 TF H4 shift 1 ?

I wonder if that is something that could be backtested, picking a "lead" pair like EURUSD and seeing what performance would have been triggering the basket on crosses of the H1 TMA True in the opposite direction that Shelley would trade it. Doing some eyeball work on it, I would say it looked v promising...
