A couple more points I forgot..

A few people are messaging asking what timeframe I am using.. this latest set should work ok on M15, H1 and H4 and with a few tweaks could work on M15 or D1 too. So be creative, try different timeframes and settings and see what works .. and most importantly report back here so we can compare what works and what doesn't and learn from each other's wins and losses.

The BE + Jumping SL set runs more like a scalper most of the time because it will keep harvesting lots of 5pip wins every day and occasionally it will hit a home run with hundreds of pips. I have been trying to create the best of both worlds and figured this is one way to do it.

It doesn't mean this set is better than the previous set files that have been posted and it performs very differently to the initial idea. It just represents my creativity and what seems to be working for me right now.

I've given my original H1 peak high low set a makeover now too to take advantage of Steve's enhancements with the latest EA version and what I've learnt this week.

I've changed:
Sixths and Peak High Low period to 720 (this is one month's trading on H1: 43200 / 60 and enables a few more trades than the default)
BE 25pips at 75pips profit
Jumping SL every 75pips
1000pips speculative TP
300pip SL
Buy Low/Sell High active with Sixths dividing by 4 not 6

BTW has anyone else noticed the green lettering for chart display when EA is looking for longs and red when looking for shorts with the latest version ... Steve this is very cool!!!

I have had lots of tests running this past week and feel I am starting to make some progress with some refinements.

I have added BE and Jumping SL to this set which enables more pairs and/or tighter grid with lower risk so the grid is now adjusted to current timeframe....

Gave this set a whirl on M15 today and wowza talk about stacking the trend when it gets it right. Here's what EURGBP looks like right now... clearly a tad excessive but hey

I think next week I am going to run a test on just one pair GBPJPY for all the set files posted so far. I will include the default, Steve's, Leon's and mine and if anyone else has been working on anything and wants to include then let us know before the weekend. It will be fun to watch some different approaches on one pair and see what we can gain from it.

After trying this on M15 yesterday I have corrected the minimum distance between trades from 0 to 5 and increased current ATR for grid size x 3. This should be a bit safer on M15 now. I have amended in the original post too.

I will repost the above set files before Monday once I have double checked I have continuity between all the set files. All will be trading 0.01 and my grids will all be 3 x current timeframe so will be interesting to see the difference between the way M15, H1 and H4 play out in terms of profit and drawdown and whether the grids pave the road with gold or empty the account.

All this will be on just GBPJPY and plan to run this test for the month of April to see what shines.

Thanks for this TJF. You are certainly repaying the time that Thomas and I put into developing the EA.

Anybody else here prepared to put a month of forward testing into different settings? Now is definitely the time to step forward. Doesn't matter if the trial fails - this will simply prevent others spending resources on the same trial in the future.

I made 450 profit pips on Friday alone with DD < 3% by using TJF's setfle (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 70#p153018) but with simple changes. My setfile was given to TJF yesterday. I will forward another 2 more setfiles to TJF later by today for him to test run. Cheers
