Windows 10 Creators Update and Empty4/5 Indis/EA's not working

Hi,

Silent lurker but this forum has helped me enormously for a long time so hope this post may help others. Big thanks to Steve, Nanningbob, and everyone that posts a wealth of trading knowledge!

Windows 10 Creators Update is an update released around 11th April. It will slowly make its way around to your PC but a forced update from Microsoft is possible, which I did a couple of days ago.

Tonight, my Empty4 v1065 hung and when I started it back up i found that none of my indicators in the Data Folder directory would attach/load onto the chart (the ones in the install directory attach/work fine).

It seems to be a known problem with quite a few people finding the same as posted in the MQL5 forum. Here is a link to the topic (which I hope is ok to post ): https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/190443

Just giving people a heads up, personally suggesting to avoid the Creators Update until MetaQuotes resolves the problem.

Thanks for giving me a justification to leave all my productive machines stuck with Windows 7.
