Baluda Slope Strength auto-trader

can Baluda EA be backtested as it does not repaint? If so, some specialist on backtesting should help us out here.

GU = - 70 pips

Yes, I think there's a massive problem with indicators here. They were showing on JPY pairs negative slopes, indicating it is the best moment to sell, whereas all charts of JPY pairs are UP, since many hours now. Fortunately I'm trading in Demo accounts

Please add this to the init() procedure:

The currencyOccurrence array has to be set to 0 on every initialization. Otherwise the currency Slope Strengths do not calculate right.

'ArrayInitialization(currencyOccurrences, 0.0);' is the only line to add.

Could you also consider changing the default 'PairsToTrade' extern string to:

This is a gem ! a visual backtest that looks that nice without repainting indis, just too good to be true

Guys, look at the past data, you can't avoid retracements but the long run should/will be profitable

I am still showing the problem of the EA and the indicators failing to agreed on the symbols strength value

I have updated the EA with the required addition code

The value's are closest when the EA is first initiated and then drift apart quickly

Please see the attached picture - this problem is not fixed

It should work.

You have to use the same pairs in settings of indis and EA.

New version of Baluda, v1a in post 1.

Changes:

• Default list of symbols in user setting 'PairsToTrade' now matches the settings of the accompanying indicators.
• Changed format of Currency Slope Strengths on screen, now just two digits.
• Debugged calculation of Currency Slope Strength.

I just made some small changes, nothing big. Please use this version for any further develpoment.

Remember to set this up for the daily (default) time frame (HtfTimeFrame = 1440). Anything else will give you unexpected results.
