How are you getting it to pickup on gold or silver Rod?

if you do not want to significantly recode the quickest method is to rename a USD based pair
eg find replace NZD with XAU or XAG

rename the indi if you want to keep using NZD ie the old indi

Obviously your Broker would have to be using XAUUSD for gold

This was just a quick and dirty fix, I intend to rewrite the indi and incorporate into an EA

Actually, the easiest method is using version 2.2, as I explained in this thread months ago and updated the version. You can use it wherever you want, Sugar, Cotton, Oil, whatever.

Gary updated the simplified version as well, so it should work as you want, on any exotic thing.

Apparently there was later a minor bug fix to version 2.2

ie

I just received this PM from Gary (gprince66):

The line is 170 in the 2.2 that I have:
almostUniqueIndex=StringSubstrOld(now,StringLen(now)-3)+IntegerToString(WindowsTotal())+IntegerToString(WindowOnDropped());

Change it to:
almostUniqueIndex=StringSubstrOld(now,StringLen(now)-3)+IntegerToString(WindowsTotal())+IntegerToString(ChartWindowFind());

I have been using the system since this thread started.I trade 4H only when 4H,Daily and Weekly all line up and I just set a grid and let it do its thing. Grid settings can be anything. Just depends on your personal risk/reward needs.
I tripled my account last year and I have so far doubled a new account that I started this month.
Extremely simple and reliable.

Its also very important that you pay attention to s/r levels on daily.Its hard enough to try to stay out of tops and bottoms so the times that it IS possible to see a strong enough s/r level coming up then it can help you from trading into it and then being dismayed when price drops through and stops out all your trades.
I also usually never take a trade that doesnt have a strength level on daily and 4H of +/-1. @ is the number usually used but I have found 2 is too late a lot of times to get into the trade early enough.

Here is a perfect example of going up a level and seeing s/r that can keep you out of the wrong side of the trade. This is what cable looked like last week. You can see that SS is screaming that you should take a trade and momentum is high but with that s/r I stayed away and of course price bounced and any trade would have been stopped out.
