Odd values from an indicator

Still messing around with various EA ideas, I was querying the value of SMI.mq4 (downloadable from http://www.forex-tsd.com/indicators-met ... #post15099) in a test EA. For 2 candles it displays its values correctly, but on the 3rd they all return 2147483647, which is Empty4's "EMPTY_VALUE".

The values I'm querying are in buffers, they're just lines drawn by the oscillator. Been pulling my hair out for a while over this & wasting time, decided I'd be better off asking if anyone knew any possible causes/solutions...

Edit: Narrowed it down to the SMI indicator. It works perfectly live, but it stops displaying values after just a couple of candles when used in backtesting (I was backtesting when I saw the erroneous values).

Now to figure out what the heck is wrong with SMI. Ugh.

Edit #2: Nevermind, mladen of ForexTSD came up with a fix. An mql programmer of his skill & speed - it'd be wonderful if he joined this forum...
