Yes, on Oanda that would work.
It just means you have to always close all trades within one timeframe at the same time. In my mind I was thinking the reverse order, .01 on the 5 minute tf, .04 on the 4hour tf, on the theory that a lot more lower tf orders would be open at one time.
But maybe you're thinking instead that the 4 hour TF could have a lot bigger drawdown on each individual trade?
This would be limited to Oanda, but there aren't many brokers available in the U.S. anyway, and they actually forgave any debts beyond account size occurred in the CHF black swan event when some accounts crashed far below zero.
Yes, you would have to have more equity to be able to do the multiple timeframes, but with $2,000 someone could do two timeframes.
I would probably start on very limited pairs and as the profits pile up slowly add more to it.
