I've been a stealth follower for the past couple years, with not much to offer other than prayer.
Thanks to Steve's petition, I now offer up to you a 'thanks a million' (hopefully literally someday!) - for giving us newbs an opportunity to take a small bite out of the massive forex pie -- and for giving many of us hope, when there often seems to be no hope in the shark-infested world of 'super-dooper-filthy-stinking-rich-mega-traders' and criminals.
May your efforts [along with Steve, other TIs, and the entire forex forum family] spark a NB 10.2 trading revolution!
And may God bless you with a 30, 60, and even 100-fold return (i.e., some serious ROI!) on your investment into us.

I found Bob courtesy of Steve's mptm instruction booklet (approximately 18 months ago), more specifically this last section on the last page:

The Nanningbob trading system
I referred briefly to this in Choose your 'management style' on page 2. Unless you are a
super-dooper-filthy-stinking-rich-mega-trader, then you want to know about this. Even if
you are a sdfsrmt, you will be interested.
If you are a beginner, you really, really, really, really want to know about it. Go to
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=246113 and do this:
1. Read page 1 five times
2. Download the most recent zip and read the documents 5 times
3. Print out Marshy's summary for easy reference
4. Read the first 20 pages or so of the thread. Pay particular attention to Bob's posted
charts and answers to queries.
5. Read the last 20 pages or so of the thread to catch up with latest developments.
6. Practise on demo for a couple of weeks.
7. Go live and make money.

Like Shelley, I found Bob in exactly the same way - through Steve's MPTM documentation and its final-page compelling message to " GO NOW". I had been about a year in forex then and had blown a couple of my accounts trading systems from "successful Gurus" who sold it to you as salvation itself, only to, 6 months later, offer it free to anyone who would buy someone else' new product through their link!!!

On digesting the contents of 5.0, I was immediately struck by its common-sense approach, but what really quivered my arrows was the freely-giving, patient, so helpful and oh, so polite method of Bob's solicitude in answering and offering help to even the most stupid issues raised by newbies, one of whom I was and probably still am.

I looked at the BRW combination which was a part of 5.0 and simply marveled at the ingenuity that produced it. It has remained an invaluable part of my trading tools to this day and I have simply had to incorporate it into 10.2. It is this same ingenuity and an inspired readiness to explore and experiment that has led Bob to the creation of the TMA slope, a tool we all have had to admit is simply out of this world.

Needless to say that, since happening on Bob, a new day has dawned on my trading. Often, I would wake up in the small hours of the morning, take a look at my charts and wonder at how the market seemed to always know how to go against me! Not any more. With instruction and regular insights such as his, you must quickly learn a few home truths about forex that cannot but strongly help you on.

And to now find oneself in the midst of a community of inspired minds such as this is truly a wonderful opportunity.

And so, it is with the greatest regard that I salute you again, Bob, for being who and what you are. And as I said on the FF thread (as Pips4Fun), you certainly bear all the hallmarks of a truly matured spirit.

No less is to be said of you Steve for all the stuff so generously offered down the line, not least of which is this forum itself. The cooperation between you two is in keeping with birds of a feather flocking together; and so it is with this community and all within it who continuously give to make it such a worthwhile place to hang out in.

The best of regards and gratitude to you all, laced with lots and lots of daily green pips!

I found this forum by chance 7 months ago. I realized in FF that steve was an exceptional individual with his unrelenting help to those of us who needed it. People like steve tend to attract and associate themselves with like individuals such as Bob. The two of them inspire each other to greater heights.

The coders in this forum are exceptional. No belittling just constructive replies. They also inspire each other.

This forum is the pinnacle of what a successful forum should be and its leader, Steve keeps a firm grip on his "child" and makes it a better place to congregate and learn.

Bob and Steve thank you for being you and letting us into your circle.

I can't match the eloquence of many of the tributes here, but I echo their sentiments wholeheartedly. Thank you, Bob.

It's a shame that your school is struggling for survival - I'm certain that the whole community here wishes you well.

I started trading late 2010. I thought I knew it all, but I was wrong - blew up 2 live accounts. Almost gave up on trading.

Sometime in mid 2011, met Bob on his 10.1 thread. There were so many variations: Trending, Ranging, Counter trading setups. Suddenly, the phrase, "...teach a man to fish, u feed him for live." caught my attention well. So, I read thru all Bob's instruction manuals. You bet they are confusing, but I push on finishing them several times.

Since then, I see NB10.2 evolve to a very beautiful system, like a Ferrari.

Thank you Bob for mentoring us with such patience. Also thanks Steve for synergizing his system into a wonderful EA.
