My first Collisonal Accidental trades

I just took a trade on GBPUSD & GBPJPY aiming for 100 pips.

ShelleyJem says this trade is no good because GBPJPY & GBPUSD aren't near the top band of H1 TMA. If GBPJPY/GBPUSD are near the top band of H4 this means a sufficient retrace has taken place. So maybe for the TMA requirements we need to look for a retrace to opposite H1 OR H4 TMA.

I've attached a pic for you.

Also what might happen now is we get confirmation of the 5.1 saying Sell and then price might retrace to top of the H1 TMA and then it will trigger. Which might also be good cause we get in a bit higher. Things to think about.

Up 80 pips at one stage. I've put my stops to breakeven - not risking a move up now after GBPUSD hit the pivot and bounced.

Some quick questions:
1) This EA does not need any other chart with 10.2 template and correspondant indis. Just attach it to a simple chart. Correct ?
2) Why there are only 23 pairs in the first extern variable of the EA instead of 28 pairs ?
3) When attaching the EA, "no active session is displayed", because time is outside NY, London & Tokyo sessions. To get rid of that, (for tests) what settings to do ? (put all time sessions = 0) ?
4) Why displaying properties of this EA is disabled? Try urself to right click on the chart , ExpertAdvisors/Properties ====> NOTHING there. Why ? (it's not solution to remove EA completly then reattach it, You agree ?)

Although this was the real behavior of this EA, it Seems that these questions were deliberately ignored. So maybe newbies here are not really tolerated or considered as annoying people..... very helpful isn't it Guys ?

Effluvium, I think your post is a little out of line....
you only need to read through all the posts/threads and see that most people who are members in Steve's forum are extremely helpful.

Some things you may consider that could be the cause of the delay in a response...
Some people may be sleeping
Some people may be working
Those that are around may not know the answers
Some of the things you have asked, the answers are already in the thread


I think you may need to re-read the NB threads & I think a little patience is in order!!

Now, I will try to answer your questions for you:

Shelley does not need any of the indicators from 10.2. Thanks to Paul (Baluda), the code for them is subsumed within the EA. Paul's contribution here is monumental.

2) I don't know...ask Steve (good luck with that)

24 hour trading, adding to the basket and non-basket trading
To keep SJ looking for baskets throughout the trading day, set the session inputs so that the end of one and the start of the next are the same. This is the default.

4) Because that's the way it is!

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but I have had a pretty crap day and everyone on this forum freely give their time to discuss, develop & encourage each other, and yet you clearly don't appear to have even taken the time to read the first post.

So after 100pips climbing, SJ close my Tokyo basket with +25pips without any message.

Steve, could you add Alert message in LookForPositionClosure() that we can check what's happen please EDIT -> Correction on code !

Anybody has an explanation ? SJ is with default parameters
