Hmmm ..
That's because I store the last slope reading in the comments of the trade. You will have to restart the EA to see the slope change if you are changing the timeframe while it's running.

falanca,
What I'm trying for is a trend follower. The currency strength slope is an excellent indicator of the direction of a trend and I think the EA is good at getting that part right, however, it's the exit of the trade that eludes me.
Most indicators look at the current slope by comparing the slope strength from a past point of reference (candle) to the current strength (candle). It hit me the other day that the past point of reference should be the strength at the time of trade and not a candle. This has lead me to the current EA you are playing with. I may be blowing smoke up everyone's skirt .. but I think there are possibilities in this strategy. I could use someone to challenge me or make some suggestions to help me think more out of the box .. are you up to the challenge?

Yes problem on forex is changing volalities and directions. On Awesome EA there are pending orders according to the strength of currencies. We may select 1 hours bar's slope strength as big picture. And trade according to the differece of 2 bars. And if it was above +20(or 30 for example) then put buy pending.İf its difference was -20 then put sell pending.Dont close orders till some profit.İts just an idea. Thanks for your work for forex also.Respects

Hi Dwain,
First of all, excuse me for the late response. I was on holiday for the last week and on the board again.
It is fantastic to see what happened in just one week. New indicators and EA, appreciate for these. My request was nearly the same way of 9ofX v2.0, even this solution is better than I thought.
Thanks again.
Emre

With 9ofX it would be very difficult to add the total to each column, but in essence that is what the lower, middle and higher strengths tell you by the rows. If you can show me how it would be used, I'd be happy to consider it.

Thanks for the advice on how you are using this. I have been practicing using this method but for some reason I just can't make a profit. I will continue to practice and learn. Thanks for your help.dap711 » Mon Sep 04, 2017 1:36 pm wrote:Glad you asked .... OOTB

I only trade currencies that are crossing, and the strongest and weakest currency using the 10.7 CSS.v2.0 12 pairs_6xx indicator. Stay away from currencies that are between the .2 and -.2 levels unless they are crossing with steep slope. Make sure you are viewing the indicator on the TF you have set in the EA. (H1 or H4)
