ShelleyJem. Fantastic collision of accident and analysis

ONe problem I have noticed albeit with yesterdays version is that it keeps freezing. I have just logged on to see a GBPUSD sell trade triggered around 12:00 UK time today. It still showed GBYJPY as untradable. Whenever I changed the timeframe of the chart GBPJPY immediately became tradable as a sell.

just downloaded sj v 1d, and it enters a cycle to open a gbpusd and immediately close it - takes about 1 sec. and 2 pips each. I suspect i have something set up wrong, but no clue what. any suggestions?

I am using v1c, but something's wrong with the adaptive pips take profit. I set it to 30 pips with 2 trades that's 60 pips for pips take profit, but I am now up 178 pips and the profit is still running. What is the problem?

Steve: the more I look at this now the more I'm thinking the ultimate EA will be a combination of:

1/5 Shelley (basket trading)
1/5 NB (daily trend/strength direction using Tmaslope/.08)
1/5 Baluda (4h filter)
1/5 Jem (waiting for retracements using TMA and entry using 5.1)
1/5 Steve (TP/SL and EA wizard)

Initial thoughts:

1. Wait for TMA Slope daily strength to go below -.08 or above .08
2. Look at Baluda 4H. Trend must match #1 (ie; short audusd = aud must be above usd)
3. Wait for retracement to top TMA
4. price starts hitting the 5.1 MA
5. Trigger basket (which is made up of pairs which meet 1+2 requirements)

I'm going to spend next week playing with this and I'll get back to you. have a great weekend guys, this week has been monumental for my trading with 10.2, I've learned a lot of lessons!

The problem is LUC. Gary's fix for one problem created others in the various stop routines.

I have removed the fix and it will stay removed permanently. I do not remember entirely what it was about - something to do with some of the more blatant criminals using a variable Point.

ShelleyJem cannot work on platforms with this nifty little feature. If your criminal is one of these, then either change criminal or abandon ShelleyJem.

When I am in a better mood, I might look at a fix even for those of you daft enough to be trading with these lunatic, pathetic, dipstick criminals, but holdeth ye breathe notte. I have only just woken up and right now, couldn't give a toss.

V 1c in post 1 fixes the problem. Be aware that this also applies to Shelley and Simple Shelley and I have done nothing about them yet.
