A zero value of MODE_STOPLEVEL means either absence of any restrictions on the minimal distance for Stop Loss/Take Profit or the fact that a trade server utilizes some external mechanisms for dynamic level control, which cannot be translated in the client terminal. In the second case, GetLastError() can return error 130, because MODE_STOPLEVEL is actually "floating" here.

So there is every chance I would be wasting my time. I will add some code to stop the error showing and send an immediate market trade when it is generated.

That will cause some trades to look as though they have been sent incorrectly. Tough. Take it up with your broker.

Notably, Global Prime has a zero stop level. GP clients do not care about this situation because it does not arise. So, time for another plug for GP.

Any ideas is GP is ok for Australian clients? I always worry about using overseas brokers, it can make the scenarios for disputes really convoluted and difficult to deal with, and the international transfer fees can really suck for deposits and withdraws...

EDIT: on closer inspection it seems they have an office in Bondi, so I will certainly check them out lol!

I have noticed it, but to be honest I use Pepper-Stone for my live trading, and havent had any real issues with them, so its a case of "if it aint broken dont fix it" etc... Certainly willing to have a look though!

EDIT: Some manipulation with the "Bully Pepperstone" name when typing it in here, I'm guessing you had some problems with them lol?

Version 1c is in post 1. I have suppressed the 'invalid stop' error alert and added code to send an immediate market order when the error is generated.

I am blown away by TJF's set file and have hard coded it as the defaults. I have added a couple of extra inputs to allow the bot to close the position so we can be flat for the weekend. Please read the details in the Versions from 1c onwards section in post 1.

I agree with you Steve, that .set file is just awesome.

Do you think its possible to add a global basket close in a later version?

10,000+ pips in under a week is definately some sort of record. Interestingly tonight's news brought EU back to life as it was starting to look like GJ was the only worthwhile option.

I'm curious, what prompted you to choose those two pairs in the first place?

I like them because EU is the most liquid pair and GJ has the longest continuous trading day of the the main currency combinations.
