Would you be so kind as to share your Awesome v1m.....I noticed my test results this week starting to vary very much from when I started 2 weeks ago and suspected version changes to be making a difference...however I didn't rename and save all previous versions I had used....so far I have recovered v1g, v1l, and v1n.
Goal is to get another combo working well together again.

I started running a test with v1m and H4PeakHiLo730.set on 19/9. At that time I did pick up the fact that some of the inputs, i.e. "Take every sgnal inputs" and "Trade closure inputs" used to be global inputs under previous versions of the EA, but under v1m these inputs became time frame specific. I just changed those inputs for "Time Frame 1" to match what they were in the original set file. If you just load the original set file against v1m then those particular inputs will take on default values as set by the EA, not the values as shown in the original set file.

It all gets very complicated and shows the importance of having some means of quality/version control when doing comparison testing. I agree this can be difficult when an EA is changing a lot with bugs being fixed and new functionality added. Nonetheless, if you're running tests for comparsion purposes and things change then you need to tweek the tests to account for those changes or start the test again, otherwise you're not comparing apples with apples, and it becomes difficult to get meaningful results out of it.

Anyway, just sharing my experience. I have been running H4PeakHiLo730 since 19/9 against v1m and have not had any problems with global basket closure, not that I've noticed anyway. All I've done with this EA is what I said above and I've just let the test run in the background, just to see what it will do. The general strategy in this EA is very sound in my opinion.

Here is the set file I'm running with:

And here is the results so far, been running for about 5 weeks now. I do close all trades on Friday evenings at 23:45 using APTM. There was slight problem with this in that pendings were being left open. Tommaso was kind enough to address that recently with an update to APTM.

The set file is from that list of test set files on p5. I just changed it so it would work as intended against the later version of the EA, v1m.

Yes. I have added it to post1 alongside V1m as it may help anyone coming across this thread for the first time and save them dbl checking all the options are going to do what they want with the latest versions.

This is exactly what I was hoping when we started on this journey that others would pick up the gauntlet as results proved worthwhile and so it's great to see everyone that's getting involved.

From now on If anyone supplies a further developed setfile that suggests stronger results to what we have I will post with the version used aswell.

Thanks for all the Setfiles and MQ4 versions. It will give a good basis to start testing variations to find even better set-files.

Just a little tip though. I think there are at least 5 different H4PeakHiLo730.set files out there now. One might still know now which is which, but a month in the future, you will be confused. And of course it will be difficult to discuss differences in the tread.
I could not even find back where the first PeakHiLo730 appeared and why the person who designed it (TJF?) decided to test the settings.

Falling back on my science background and having hundreds of data-files, I started a standardized naming for myself. I just renamed my downloaded:
PeakHiLo.730 to . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . AWesOV_1__H4HeakHiLo730_T___17____.set
SWG PeakHiLo730.set to . . . . . . . . . . . . . . AwesOV_1q_PeakHiLo730_SWG123_171022.set
PeakHiLo730Spiderman.set to . . . . . . . . . . . AwesOV_1g_PeakHiLo730_1Direc_171021.set
Dclay(H4 PeakHiLo730).set to . . . . . . . . . . . AwesOV_1m_PeakHiLo730_dclayw_171022.set

etc.
If I ever do a search on the computer to find Awasome files, they are easily retrieved and grouped together. I know for which version of Awesome it was intended, name of publisher and date in the thread. You may think of better naming conventions yourself.

In my earlier days I became so confused with my testings, I did not know Arthur from Martha. It is important to log and specify tests with dates, magic numbers and a short description of the test set and importantly, open folders in the preset folder with details. Organization crux for a hardcore tester.

It seems the user is trading 4 timeframes M1,M5,M15,M30, 25pips spacing, €50 global basket (or 5% of original €1k equity).

50quid basket may sound too ambitious, but.. it works! Have a look yourselves

This makes me wonder.. what is better? small global closure setting hoping for quick turnaround or shooting for the stars? Perhaps we could agree on best TF and settings and just test different basket values? €1/€2/€5/€10/€15/€25/€50 ???

Another thing I've observed trading 1% baskets: once they close, PA continues in the "right" direction meaning we leave some £$€ on the table.. Would basket BE/JS help? What do you guys think?
