A piece of news on FF :

Keep an eye on the yen today. If there is another nuclear test by North Korea, you can expect the yen to soar again.

CSS DAILY for today.

USD pointing up.

EUR, AUD, CAD, CHF, JPY pointing down.

So, looking for trade setups to buy USD against EUR, AUD, CAD, CHF and JPY today.

Use whatever system you are comfortable with for entry. Right now I am learning to trade with the naked chart.

EURAUD H4. Potential trade setup. Lets wait for HGI trend/wavy UP arrow to reject turncoat resistance.

Indicator available here, http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=27&t=514

I just recently came back to using HGI and have been looking to see how it works with CSS, I had forgotten about this thread so am reading through it again as a refresher.
I'm very interested in HGI with CSS and will be following.

CSS WITH HGI & SUPER CSS

Post by puffoley »

I tend to close all my trade on friday afternoon as i don´t like to spend the week end thinking about how the market will open the next week so i closed all my winning trades last friday(especially now with the corona virus situation)........well big mistake on this one, all my trade would have been almost double in profit if i kept them open. Anyway, it is how it is.

Details on how i trade has been asked by private message so i will explain a little bit more:

-I read daily CSS then use "Holy graily bob" in H1 to trade in the appropriate direction.
-I would close a losing trade only if a candle is breaking and fixed breaking the arrow formed by HGI indicator.
-I would close a winning trade if H4 superslope is changing color or if it is above the 2 line and comes back under it.

CSS read is the key here, the rest of the trading is really basic.

buying----> EUR/AUD,EUR/NZD,EUR/CAD,EUR/USD
selling---->AUD/CHF,AUD/JPY,NZD/CHF,NZD/JPY,CAD/CHF,CAD/JPY,USD/CHF,USD/JPY

Wish you all a great trading week :)

I´m not feeling very confident with the actual configuration of CSS and the market in general.Some trades were taken this morning and i managed to make 180 pips of profit but i think i´m going to stay away for a while untill the market come back to normal.
CSS is overextended and i´m worried about a pull back. Might be a mistake but better be safe than sorry.
What do you think?

I did take some trades this morning during the flash crash using 15min for CSS and HGI and only trading in the direction of the 4hr CSS, they kept me on the right side of the market and all trades were positive so I'm happy with the combination.
Sitting out now until things settle down.
