I forgot when I posted my original, "Of course it will" response, that I am also heavily exposed to UCad.Gertje » Sat Oct 21, 2017 6:12 pm wrote: This USDCAD trade is a textbook trade, according to this strategy.
Once it triggered NEARLY A MONTH AGO on the 25th of september, it never went in DD but stayed in floating profit.
A few times it nearly went to TP, reason for me to close it at this point.
Of course it will scream upwards mondaymorning....
Ok, so it took until today to scream upwards, but it didn't muck around. It is now at a previous resistance level, so it is probably going to bounce around annoyingly for several more weeks before penetrating. After that, one more resistance and it is a free ride up to my take profit.
The whole bloody exercise started on 23rd June. Boy oh boy, but I am glad the swap is positive. Here is a pic of the chart: You can see at least two more resistances in between me and my TP? Shut up and leave me will my delusions.
At least the swap is positive. Imagine the agony on the other side of the equation.
