Regarding multi time frames on my test- M5 and M30 have both actually made a little loss, so for future tests it could be better to skip those tf-s or maybe try H4 instead.

Hi everyone,

I test at the moment 4 different target systems. All of them are very different each other.

1- the famous Flying Buddha with Ss and Peak Hilo through the original Awesome EA.
2- the famous HGI indicator that gives entry at the big arrows through the Awesome Bells and whistles EA.
3- a superslope entry system when the 2 curves are crossing through the Awesome Bells and whistles EA.
4- a home made indicator that tells me when there is momentum through the Awesome Bells and whistles EA.

I recently modified the trade exit as marx64 specified with a Global Profit 50. It is probably too early to get any conclusion but all the 4 accounts look much better since this change. I will show the improvements when they will be very significant but I really think now that the trade exit decision is the thing to think about.

You make, all of you a very great job on SHF, thanks again for that. Most part of the work, discussion and strategies are based on the trade entry, to find the best moment to enter.
As long as we trade in the trend direction (already defined with TMA, Ss or any MA), money management offered to us with Awesome and his different variants could be more important than the entry strategy.
I will start a 5th system where I enter regularly in the trend direction with this GP 50 to verify this assumption.

Among 20 pairs, there are still a few one that are trending, it should be possible to reach these 50 only with these trending pairs even if the others one are ranging. If not, to be able to define a Global Profit function of a average ATR or function of an another volatility parameter. Just one thing to think about...

Excuse me if I speak about something that already exists or if it does not make sense to you, but I would be happy to study deeper this MM subject.

It's at -5155 pip on open trades at the moment.

Yep, mainly the 250 pips fall in GBP pairs has left it in trouble. Should have used emergency SL.

Whoops I see! Why is the equity line so close to the balance line on myfxbook.. Shouldn't that reflect the current drawdown?

Just to put into perspective the H4 set although more modest figures you could x 10 and it would still only be 275pips drawdown right now so a much safer proposition.

The graph updates only when there has been change in Balance. As the last trade closure happened on 30th of October the graph has not been updated.

Ive been running Awesome 1m Dclay (H4 PeakHiLo730) ver 1m since 24/10 and the results are encouraging enough to put some extra effort into this and try to improve it. Its survived both the BOE interest rate and non farm payrolls. The 4.5% drawdown is a bit higher than I am comfortable with but will tinker and try to reduce it. Ive also been running other variations including the $50 basket and $25 but they both have massive drawdown on my tests. Thanks everyone involved. :yahoo:

I'm no myfxbook expert but my understanding is that it does not show open drawdown, only shows drawdown for closed trades. So as marx64 says, it only updates when balance changes, i.e. when a trade is closed. Not sure if there is a way to include open trades in drawdown calcs, would be much more useful if there was. I think FXBlue works the same way.
