It has been a strange night here on Planet Steve.
I fell fast asleep after eating some tea and awoke to a clock purporting to tell me that it was around about 3.00 AM, so I tottered off to bed.
When I awoke a few hours later, it was actually not much after midnight. So there I was having had the equivalent of most of a full night's sleep yet with a whole day in front of me.
Bear in mind when you read what is coming that the first thingy I did was: pour myself a very large malt.
A bit later I poured myself a second very large malt.
I am currently on the third. Please forgive upcoming bluntness. Not that I care whether you do or not, of course.
V 1h is in post 1. You will be happy to know that I coded most of it before tonight. I note that some of you are exercised by the fact that PoS sometimes takes different time frame trades at the same price. To me, that merely shows your ignorance of what PoS is about. You could always try reading the user guide. Difficult concept to grasp I know, but it
does contain some useful information.
Staggering as this might appear, I do occasionally admit that I might be wrong. Only "might" here, mind. I still think that all you exercisers are barking at the wrong moon.
1h includes the new input MinimumDistanceBetweenInitialTradesPips at the top of the "Trading Time Frames" inputs section. This is intended to prevent different time frames from sending trades less than MinimumDistanceBetweenInitialTradesPips apart. It is for the ignorant and stupid. Use it if you are a moron.
I have also included some more code intended to counter over trading. The bot sends pending trades whenever our margin level is above our chosen MinimumMarginPercent. These trades filling can carry us below this safety level, so PoS should now delete pending trades that would initiate a new trading cycle, when our margin level drops below MinimumMarginPercent. It will not do anything about fill-the-gaps trades.
I have hacked Thomas' wonderful DisplayMatrix() code to make a better chart display. Thanks Thomas. You are a star.
Compile the source code and view the "possible loss of data due to type conversion" warning that this throws up at line 1173. Then go to line 1192 for a comment that explains my cluelessness here. Any solution gratefully received. Any member complaining about this shows that he/she/it could not be arsed to read this post properly and receives an instant SHF ban.
Just gone 3.30 in the morning here in the UK and the third vlm is a long way down, so I had better stop before I insult any more SHF members. Maybe the Land of Nod will recall me.
Happy Christmas folks. Here is hoping that PoS will help us make profits in the New Year.
Later note: the Land of Nod failed to recall me so I am looking at a very strange day coming up. Hey ho.

Read the effing manual, ok?
Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.
I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.
Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.
