Years ago I used to really enjoy a single malt - especially a smokey Laphraoigh or Lagavulin. But then my wife asserted that I apparently became argumentative after a few drams - of course I chose to differ, thereby immediately losing that particular argument.

Laphraoigh and Lagavulin are both malts with which I am happily familiar.

My weird day continued with the absolute insistence that I ate scrambled egg on toast at about 5.00 this morning, washed down by a slug of malt and a huge mug of tea. I know better than to fight my body's demand for scrambled egg and so acquiesced.

What followed can best be described as dozing my way through today. I am not a fan of Christmas, so when finally booted into feeding my body again, I fed it fish and chips - smoked haddock.

I am now two thirds of the way through a bottle of Old Pulteney. I add this only to explain why I am posting even more gibberish than usual.

There is, only by a different name.
In PoS it is called recovery.
You can set the number of trades and the amount of pips per trade after which number the bunch should close.

Sir, thank you for your reply and clarification; most grateful. So instead of 'recovery group of trades' based on a particular pair, it is more a 'recovery group of trades' based on a time frame (which could constitute different pairs)?

Okay. So, this brings me back to my original question and my only conclusion is PoS does not have the recovery option to treat a group of trades for a particular pair (eg. all trades for EU) say after a user-specified number of trades are opened (eg. 5 trades opened for EU, irrespective of time frame) as a basket to be closed for a profit or BE.

Just an idea. The shape of the H4, D1 candles is dependent on the time of the broker. It is possible to add a variable that would convert candles, for example, to Global Prime Time?

No.

A solution that some people use is to run a GP demo and copy the trades across to their live platform.
