Hi Guys,

Just a quicky. GbpJpy doing it for me this week. The chop as Steve referred to in his introduction does take back profits, but overall a good result for the week. My settings are not set to London and Ny open etc. so I may have to tweak when I get to to that brick wall.

Anyway, I can live with this.

Hi @all.

TC was running hands off OOTB from Monday evening on my usual 10 pairs.

Not too bad, but I am wondering why my GJ results are so different to Leon´s. The different entry point shouldnt have so much impact, as the bots should be synchronous after a while. What you can see from the chart: The bot accumulates huge profits and then gives them back. I will test it with TP activated.

I also had a demo running where I restricted the trading times to the first 4 hours London and the first 4 hours New York session. This ended at -500 pips. I didnt close the open trades after the trading times, what I obviously should have done.

So two conclusions for me. If a feature would be added to close all trades after trading time, we could nicely test out the optimal trading times. And - this bot could be worth to transform it into a dashboard multipair monster.

This is my result of testing from January 24th when I found this.

From my observation, there will always be other trades to take, and 20 pips is a good income to make. Therefore why don't we moved SL to BE + spread + commission before a new trade is triggered and should a new trade be triggered after the first one has been moved to BE and price moves South, we will not be loosing on 2 trades but one, thus reducing the pips given back. This I think should save some pips and improve the result.

A few years back, I uploaded an indicator that shows the Profit/Loss of trades per pair, per opening hour...
I modded it last week so that only profitable pair/hours are green... Zero profit and loss are shown as Red, to make the good times stand out.
It may help with deciding the best times for each pair.

Yes I see there is a big difference with our GJ results. Not sure if this will make much of a difference but I have always turned my computer off at night. The reason purely that I want to switch my mind off trading too I do turn my computer on at 6h00 hours my time (Gmt +2) and end my trading at 19h00 my time. I have not closed any trades manually each day.

Hope this can shine a bit more light on our difference.

I stated in post 1 that I have little faith in this EA and my first week on demo did nothing to improve my expectation.

I will not lock this thread for now, just in case it proves useful this coming week. I doubt it though.
