It's just an idea for you to DIY (do it yourself) if you can as I will not give more than the details below. The best things in life are never found on the surface - you have to dig to find it. If you are still struggling, play around with different MA settings and on different time frames until you get what you are comfortable with - build something fitted to only you and ONLY YOU will see what others are not seeing.

1 is my Trend Channel
2 & 3 are my MA cross filters
4 is my entry & exit signal

2 & 3 are Babon Slope (very little lag with price) and you can search for it on SHF.
1 & 4 are normal MAs

Rules
I buy above the Trend channel (1) and sell below it
My setup candle is the candle that closes outside the Trend Channel and the Entry/Exit Signal (4) MA is right on it as it crosses from below my MA filters (2 & 3)
I enter few pips above or below the setup candle
I exit the trade when the Entry/Exit Signal (4) MA crosses the Green MA (2)

Observation
The 2nd trade that was entered @ 152.235 moved 30 pips before pulling back and the Exit Signal MA crosses the Green MA. I will not allow a 30 pip profit go below 20 pip before manually closing the trade @ A as waiting would have resulted in just 6 pip profit.
@ B see how the Exit Signal MA crosses below both the Green & Red MAs (2 & 3) thus preventing me from any further long trades even when the CSM was screaming buy, buy.
@ C you can notice similar trade to A where price again moved about 26 pips and for 20 minutes (4 M5 candles) bounces around in a range. I will again close such trades and not wait for the Exit Signal to cross the Green line before closing.
The last trade @ D would have been a loss but I closed for a small profit as soon as I saw the trade going nowhere. I am a scalper and any trade going nowhere within 3 M5 candles is immediately confined to the history book

Please don't ask me for details as I won't give more than what I gave above. If you cannot see it, then it is not meant for you but if you're a scalper, just see if you can glean some ideas/inspiration to add to your system. Play with different MA settings to construct your own system, fitted to ONLY you and watch whether the MAs are reacting as you want in a live situation, otherwise adjust until you get the right fit.

Price moved 20 pips before changing course with 3 M5 candles dancing around as power (strength/weakness) changed hands and a scalper would have taken his 10 - 15 pips. Just 2 to 3 of these per day pays the bills. The trend is still possibly down and will be watching :hi:

This is a setup I am currently looking at

1. Price is under my Trend Channel and will therefore like to sell.
2. Timing wise, I now look at MADDY whether it's time to enter
3. GBP is weak but the M1 TF is moving opposite of the M5 - M30 for JPY. I will wait for the M1 TF to recycle into the M5 - M30 trend for the JPY and will pull the trigger

Somewhat I grasp your entry. What about exit? you place TP and SL at the time of the entry? And keep monitoring trade?
