FX VPS - Cheaper and faster than the rest!

I have been using Eaymon's VPS for a week. Fantastic. It is running 6 demos without batting an eyelid.

Hi danjuma,

I have 3 server configurations but I also provide larger instances too.

The CPU speed is 2.4Ghz per core and Steve is using a power server...which surprisingly to me is my most popular.

I thoroughly recommend the Power server for those of us testing multiple EA's or multiple configurations of a single EA.

I am about to release the latest in the Slopey family. This will make 7 EA's on the vps; it will barely notice.

I have to concur with the above, I have found cheaper options that offer "comparable" power, but that absolutely suck compared to FX VPS, this is without a doubt the most usable power for the cheapest price. Highly recommend it.

I am loving this. I just loaded up the seventh EA. Five of them are Slopey's which are firing once a second even though there is nothing for them to do with the markets being closed.

CPU ranging between 8% and 18% whilst I was watching. Physical memory still only 49%. A lot of space left on this baby.

Up to 8 demos running now.

Here is a curiosity. All of a sudden I cannot copy past from the desktop to the vps; 'Paste' is greyed out. I always could before but not from yesterday. I have to pm myself with the file as an attachment then acces shf on the vps and download it.

Anybody else had this and solved it?

You need to enable that in the connection file. before you connect tap on 'options' then go to the local resources tab.

don't forget to save the file once you are done.

Thanks Eaymon. I tried this and 'paste' is still greyed out.
