Hello.

My trouble continues

HGI give me wawe and range signals.
But raid and trend - big arrow only after I change timeframe to another and back.
Big arrow is most important for me

Have anybody any idea what is wrong please?

First the only arrows that matter are the ones in real time. When you reset the the screen by changing TF you get the optimized version. That's not the same as real time. For example I traded the large arrows from signals on 4h chart while never looking on a screen. In other words if the arrow signal matched my CSS reads I took the Trade blind. I did this for six weeks and was profitable. However I quit doing this because of spikes from news stories on occasion gave me some bad entrances. To me it wasn't worth the risk of not filtering News spikes which you see in the screen. So if you want to know how the indi is really doing you keep the screen on one time frame and let it run. When you switch you only get the optimized screen. For example you are showing a small arrow on one screen and a big arrow on another when you optimized it. That's because in real time the strength of the move was not strong but after several more candles it became strong. There is nothing wrong with the real time small arrow because at that time it was what the market was doing at that moment. The move got stronger with added time. So optimized is looking at past history. Don't change your screen and you'll see real time results. Change the screen and you'll see optimized results. The reason for that is the math. Real time arrows don't include the math from future candles. When you change screens you add the math of the future candles.

Your question was a good question. It shows you are thinking and studying the charts. The people who just blindly say it repaints are the ones that drive Steve nuts. They aren't trying to understand why and how an indicator works. Why does the indicator do this here and not there instead of just blindly following the crowd with an accusation. This is how you become a good trader. What is this indicator telling me right now not the past. HGI tries to tell you what is happening at the moment from which you decide to trade. Small arrow trade like it's ranging. Grab 10-30 pips and be done. Big arrow hang with it a while and see what happens. Sometimes the market surprises you. Small arrow beginning of trade session during a slow time maybe take a chance. Small arrow near the end of a trade session? Forget it. Not worth the bother.

Thank you for your valuable insights, Bob. I've always been attracted to the simplicity of your approach and for me now it's a matter of gaining experience and getting to know HGI better, which comes from use over time.

In the sentence I quoted you mentioned an approach you used but no longer do. If I may, what is your current approach to using HGI?

I put HGI in the M2 Renko picture, HGI display is very good, but the alarm and log are H1, can you set HGI with M2 Renko?

Scripts to Trade Manually with HGB.
Hi all,
I rememeber there were bunch of scripts in one of thread to take the positions manually, which used to send orders along tp in x.20 Grid lines (I think, this is the bob's style of trading from the manual as well)
I searched almost all the threads and could not find the scripts. can someone please share the same.
It used to have comments (HgB BlueWave & similar)
