Peaky on Steroids

The above mentioned account made the 400% mark today.
This was done in 7 months.......


The monthly returns are dropping somewhat due to me leaving the account alone, but so does the DD and at a much larger pace.

Makes one wonder....

It’s trading H4 and D1, both positive and negative swap.

I,just looked at the stats, on the closed orders $1.540 has been paid for swap, on the open orders there is a floating swap of +$179

I came on here to ask exactly the same thing. Every single position has a positive swap, I guess that's just good luck then.

The swap on the closed orders is $1.500 negative.....

I’m still in the process of closing down positions on the cent account, will take some more weeks I guess.

Thanks for the reply, I did find one other thing in the setfiles you posted the Trade 2 D1 lot sizes are huge ,
mdp100 0.8 per 1000
mdp150 0.6 per 1500
mdp200 0.4 per 2000

I assume that you dont use Trade 2 on your semi auto setup. is the fully auto setup using the same lot size as Trade 1 for Trade 2 ?

That’s my bad, those were fixed lotsizes at the time to accommodate the accountsize at the time.

I use now:
Mdp100 0,01 per 2500
Mdp150 0,01 per 3333
Mdp200 0,01 per 5000

I use now:
Mdp100 0,01 per 2500
Mdp150 0,01 per 3333
Mdp200 0,01 per 5000

Nope.
Actually I started an extra setfile for the VERY limited sixths pairs, up to 150pips between the sixths.
There I have set MDP to 100as well, but lotsize = 0.01/ $1.600
See what this will bring.

The DD on the semi-manual traded accounts was entirely my own fault.
I got carried away as to far up/ down I could TP and ended up buying the top- and selling the bottom- half if the sixths, totally in contradiction of the strategy.

Now I ended up with several pair that need to finish their cycle before I can bail out in the opposite direction.


The account I left alone last year is doing fine with over 4% profit last week and currently in less than 4% DD.

Just a hats off to Gertje here. I have followed his thinking from the beginning. Try as you may you will not replicate his results unless you were in from the beginning. Gertje got in when peaky posted entries that looked more like it was in a trend situation and yet he followed a counter trend strat that was new to most of us at the time. Good on you Gertje :hi: . The 4hr and daily timeframe seems a good place to start when you look at peaky 1682 bars ago. So if the cycle completes itself it may be a good time to get in.
