Posts, viewers and stats

Hi Folks,

I hope the new year is going in a prosperous direction with all the great contributions from so many members.

If you have a popular forum and see lots of posts from other members then you know your forum is useful. Since I see many reads of my forum but very few posts should I conclude that most people land by accident and don't read the content?

Since I spend so much time analysing charts and patterns, some of the analysis might be subconscious and I might not explain some things which need explaining? It would be useful to know what percentage of viewers find the posts interesting/useful by knowing how long visitors stay on a page and whether or not they follow several related posts.

After so many years of looking at patterns I am still discovering new ways to interpret the data, the journey of discovery never ends and I would like to thank Steve for providing us with a place to explore and share ideas!

as webmaster, I can see this data, but it would be too complicated to add this data to every topic, as we have a very big database, and many hits on our website.
Your topic is a very good read, I personally like it much and many users for sure too. I am sure people can learn much from your analysis or your input creates a new point of view. Continue with your great work it is much appreciated!
