Hi Guys,

Also a good week for me.

so remember that Thursday is often a reversal day. I have shut down HGBT on my live account for the week, and will start again on Monday.

I echo Steve's words. Also not forgetting the Italian general elections on Monday the 5th of March with lots of volatility in the Euro pairs.

Hi everyone,

Big thanks for this EA, I just started it at the beginning of the week, and with only 45 trades I got 927 pips.
The very good side of this EA is the very small DD and the fact that it does not open so many trades in the same time.

By the way I also had the problem with the array out of range as soon as I try to modify something in the parameters for example. You have just to add the following line to the code

ArrayResize(TimeFrames, NoOfPairs);//Time to start trading

just before the line 614:

ArrayInitialize(TimeFrames, -1);

Then, there is no problem any more, it was a safety in the shell from Steve, and was already in Awesome code ! I hope it helps.

Thanks Nicolas. I knew I solved it somewhere, but couldn't remember where and couldn't be arsed to work it out again; never occurred to me to look in the shell

. I will include it in the next update but still strongly advise against merely using the F7 key to amend inputs. This is Empty4 we are dealing with, after all.

I shall post my live trading results tomorrow. They are excellent and most encouraging.

Peaky seems to be a very good choice, but i have a brilliant result for HGBT 15min this week.
Steve said he breaks up the test, but because i have only started this test at a demo account, i thought i want to see what it bring until the end of the week. I have nothing to lose (demo), so what?!?

So this test brings almost the same result as peaky does ( in pips ) .
This is the original steve.set as posted before by steve. I have 4 instances of Empty4 running, so it does‘nt influence the original test i upload to the database of tomele (steves set at M30)

I love the result and i‘m going live on monday with this wonderful ea.

Yep, I took some early LIVE losses as well but like you, made them back plus a fair few - in a day as it happens.

So, to those of you tempted to follow us into live cash account trading, here is a repeat of my mantras:

A new one that really should not be so new: Open an account with Global Prime(http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =52&t=1475).
- Assume that your initial stake is already lost.
- You get away with a few profitable trades? Withdraw the profits (assuming your criminal will allow this - Global Prime are true brokers and will facilitate this instantly) and continue to trade using 'house money'.
Trade today so that you can trade tomorrow (actually this is one of Bob's strictures). This means: tiny lot sizes that will not blow your account when a trade move against you - and it will, many times; bank loads of tiny profits because (tiny profits x lots of trades) = a lot of money.

The comments by Steve to close shop once in profit by Thursday is definitely from experience and is so true. I left some trades on last week. Trades on Friday and Monday/Tuesday this week wiped off profits. But it is recovering fast.

This is an essential download for those of us sending our results to the test database (see post 2). Here is Thomas' explanation:

1g also has the code provided my Letsarb a few posts ago, allowing you to use the F7 key to make alterations to inputs. Bear in mind that I advise against doing so.
