MT5 better than Empty4?

I know it's been mentioned so many times that Empty4 has so many issues (Steve even refers to it as Empty4). Just wondering is MT5 better, and is there ever going to come a time when Empty4 will no longer be used and the EAs, indicators etc here will be converted to MT5?

I don't believe that it is significantly better.
The main difference is the extra time frames which may be useful to some people.

The main problem I had with MT5, is in the historical data which for the majority of brokers, it is VERY poor.
Otherwise, I like the MT5 strategy tester more.
The other problem is that because MT5 has not been widely accepted by traders, many brokers no longer offer MT5.

Anyway, I have already converted my main indicators and EA's to MT5 but I doubt that Empty4 will cease to exist anytime soon.

Seriously? I think Empty4 will stay for a loooong time. All attempts by Crapperquotes to replace it have failed. And they tried hard.

The Cretins at Crapperquotes finally came up against some serious market resistance. CrapT5 is going nowhere.

I recall from the dim recesses of what passes for my brain, that Jem said that Crapperquotes were making CrapT5 so ludicrously expensive that nobody was buying a license for it. Jem will correct me if I am wrong.

In the early days, Crapperquotes and the Criminals were in cahoots. Crapperquotes aided the crims in their attempts to separate live account traders from their cash.

That was when Global Prime (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 867#p38867) came as such a breath of fresh air to the rest of us. Suddenly, we could trade with a real broker.

It looks to me as though Crapperquotes became power-obsessed and tried to go their own way, independent even of the criminals. Everybody concerned said, "NO".

Which is why CrapT5 has gone nowhere.

I could be taking bollocks. I often do. Jem again.

Crapperquotes are to traders what Crappersoft are to computer users. Remember how the Morons at Microsoft recoiled when Crapdows 8 was such a disaster? The Cretins at Crappersoft have done the same with CrapT5.

Market pressure is a wonderful thingy.
