Excellent results bd.     Are you trading with a reputable broker?

:xm: :rocket:
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

Not sure if you have the latest version of TradeReport. At some point, on the request of one of our members, I made an experimental version of GetPipFactor(), which by the look of your pip counts is not correct. At a later stage, I reverted back to the old and trusted GetPipFactor().

Can you re-download the latest TradeReport and see if that makes any difference to your pip counts?

Hello Steve,
Input HtfSsLevelCrossValue is not used in the Slopey Peaky Bob Ea
I noticed it while investigating why input LevelCrossValue was not used in the Awesome EA.
Is this done on purpose?
Ps I wouldn't ask but it is available in the EA inputs.
Regards

Nope. It is my fav copy/paste/forget-to-edit thingies. You can ignore it. Great to see you delving under the hood.

My results for the week to 23rd March 2018. First figure is for the week; second figure is the cumulative total:
Holy +334 +1240
Peaky +297 +4281 Open position 30 trades at -1544
Griddy -19 +637
Buddha -13 +1333

I have abandoned the Crossy Experimental version - it has done nothing but lose. I shall revert to the original.

Thanks Steve, :hi:
Is the Peaky shown in your results, multiple copies of the single pair Peaky running on many charts?

I opened a cent account with Fort FS.
So the answer to my question is, "No". Reputable brokers do not offer cent accounts - they do not have access to the open market and are market making.

Rene, this explains bd's ludicrously high 'pip' count.

bd, I thought you knew what you were talking about. Clearly not. Stay quiet until you have learned some basics.

Than you Ren. I downloaded the latest version.

Apologies to everyone who was misled by the ridiculously high pip value. Although a few weeks back, WaveG asked me this question and I explained to him here that it could be a 5 digit broker problem.

Below is the report for Wk1-7.
SPB - Wk1-7 Report.PNG
As i explained in an earlier post, I was trying to replicate Gerje's result in the Peaky thread but couldn't. SPB gave me something close to that result. Gerje is also using a cent account so I decided to try it out. I know it is not a reputable broker but I thought that it is better to try in a live environment than on a demo. If it works well with a crap broker cent account, when i migrate to Global prime in few weeks, I can be a bit relaxed with it.

Apologies to Steve for the earlier misleading pip count. It has been corrected with the latest trade report.

As per the approach, I enabled only pending orders with pip distance set to 60% of daily ADR. Below is the settings for basket closure.
Pair Target: 350 pips or $25
Basket Target: 600 pips or $50

EURUSD, EURCAD, GBPCAD and USDCHF all closed this week. Thank you.

Have a great weekend.
