Still managed to sneak a few orders in from my mobile.. Fox has been trying to shake those following all day but I know where he's going with this..

Hi Guys,

An interesting situation In GBPUSD. The fox has been cunning and deceptive. The asian session made higher highs over a three day period. Yet the fox dropped it to make lower lows over a three day period, in the London session, thus expanding the range, one I will keep in my arsenal of examples. Finally dropped it today. Must admit I was caught in this accumulation period with volumes trapping buyers and sellers. All good now Looking forward to a retrace, to possibly getting back into a sell position.

Sounds great! I haven't finished reading the whole thread yet but I'll go looking for this one! I know I have a ways to go, but for the first time since I started trying to trade anything (15 years? 20?), I feel like I'm starting to "get" it. Last week was profitable and this week also. As long as I gain more than I lose, that feels like success. And the best part about trading price only is that nobody can take it away from you. You don't rely on someone else's trade signals or fantastic indicators or EAs that only seem to work for the first week after you buy them.

Another thing I remember learning somewhere is "look for reasons NOT to take the trade". If you can't find any reasons not to, then it is probably a good trade.

Another saying is, "when the student is ready, the master will appear", or more likely when the student is ready, he or she will find the master. If someone is not ready to learn a lesson, it doesn't matter who is trying to teach them.

No, I'm not saying this to you specifically, CJ, just for me and maybe any new traders who come along here, maybe it will save them a few of those 15 years.

Careful that right leg of your indicated "W" is not a drop from the SH down to the "W"...I see your levels but I do not see the SH that normally appears. But that last rise looks like it... SL below the pins otherwise DD until it comes back from lower...
