Hi Diego,
CHF is giving me a beating over the last few days on my live account.
Here is the reason I believe you struggled with the swissy pairs.
If you look at the chart below, you will see that if you had POS set on peaky 4 hrs 1682 candle look back ( Orange block) sell stops would have triggered just below the peaky line. Yellow highlight. An immediate reversal thereafter, hence drawdown. I assume you are trading peaky on the 4 hr chart.
We need an extra filter here. I normally look at HGI on the 4 hr timeframe, I suppose you could use the 1hr timeframe as well, and if I get a trend arrow on the 4 hr timeframe I will take the trade in the peaky zone.
If my trade reverses with a trend arrow or wavy signal in the opposite direction I will cut (close)the trade.
In my example peaky on EURCHF will go all the way to peaky in the red block area on the chart If we do not have an Hgi trend reversal sell signal very shortly (1682 candle look back on the daily time frame and some 300 pips up) . Currently Hgi trend signals on the 4hr timeframe are up, and I am waiting for a trend sell signal for an entry. This means an immediate market order.
So if we relate this to the Ea we will have to have an option to choose immediate market orders or sell stops. In addition to the ability to open and close reversal trades on Hgi trend or wavy signals.
I have been trading Peaky manually with this method, quite sucessfully.
Cheers
Leon
