Hi gang
Well last week wasn't to good, I only gained $4.00 over the first week. I'm also testing smaller grid size on another platform. See you next week.

Well the 3rd week was worse then the 2nd week. Here's hoping for a better 4th week.
It was a hell of a recovery. I was down -$157 and closed on Friday with -$51.

SPB closed its trades as intended today with a profit of ~ 20,000 pips.
Details will be in the database by tomorrow.

I thought you guys might like some live trading results.

My main account has so many manual trades open that will not complete until about the middle of the century that I am only able to trade SPB on 0.01 lot sizes. He generated a basket of trades that instantly shot into deep DD, where they remained for a fortnight - and the damn thing is only shooting for a $30 basket profit.

He failed to close the basket at +$30 on Friday, so here was the position when I closed manually:

A bit of good fortune there.

The tiny account that I run to try to make Gareth rich got a lot tinier through my ineptitude and was down to $240 at its nadir. Gareth doesn't care because I funded the account so he really is playing with money he can afford to lose, but my pride took a beating.

I have worked the balance back to just over $400 and all flat for the weekend. I added SPB to the account on April 10th shooting for a $5 basket take profit, hoping to make lots of small profits and to be in and out of a position as quickly as possible. This is working:

Not everything in the garden is rosy. That $1,000 account I created by diverting the deposit from my main account to host SPB alone, went into instant DD and has remained there ever since. Currently there are 33 open trades at -1488 pips - and that is half of what it has been. The margin level is an uncomfortable 254.59%, so I have removed the bot for the time being so he cannot add any more pending trades and deleted the outstanding stop orders so the situation will only worsen if the basket moves against me again. I have a basket manager looking for an opportunity to close at +$30. A basket of 33 trades can get to that target in the blink of an eye, so I will let you all know how this pans out.

Some live trading results from last week.

The trades on that tiny live account that I split from my main account finally went into profit last week:

This was a manual closure. DD had been as high as 25% so the turn around was dramatic and I bagged it whilst it was going.

Another excellent week for Gareth's really tiny account:

Anybody here had problems with versions including 1G onwards not trading again after achieving a Friday shut down?

Please chime in if you are running a version inclueing 1G+ and have experienced no problems. I will post when we have enough info.

Should line 212 of V1g not read "extern double HtfSsLevelCrossValue = 2.0;" rather than " double HtfSsLevelCrossValue = 2.0;", as in previous versions? Or has that function been purposely edited out?

Yes, it has. We are not looking for a HTF cross, so the variable is not relevant.
