I made money in the beginning with the principles in this thread. Then I became overconfident and lost some of those winnings. After that I tempered my thinking, applied myself, practiced a lot... and I made more money. Today, I am making even more money.

It is difficult to explain how this is a good resource without trying to summarize the methodology, inadvertently doing it a disservice. The truth is it is not fast cash and requires deeper understanding. You need to do the work.
After you get it, results will indeed come fast, probably overwhelming you.

Just curious guys. This thread is quite old: has any body made any money from naked trading?

Applying what has been shared here.. one just needs to have the persistence. I purely trade what is contained in the thread. I still screw it up few times but thats me, not the strategy.
Those who dont keep drawing and annotating are not gonna have success.

In essence I am not a pure naked trader and use weekly/montly and yearly pivot support res levels for my entry criteria...I also use peaky to enter my trades. I recently joined Cj's thread to jack up on my exit levels by scannning 3 level pushes and 3 level counts etc. and it has helped me.

My personal opinion is that when trades are entered by posters here, it is usually after the fact and I have seen some guys truly posting the reason behind their trades and immediately, good and most can learn from it. Wish I can see more of you.

there is no real direction given to traders other than mystic clues by the genuises that have mastered CJ's methods. I know I will be told to go back and read the thread and which I have done on numerous occassions but it does not help the overall cause.

What confuses me most is when I see all these counts. Is it elliot wave counts?. I do not recall Cj ever mentioning it unless it was at DFC. Well if so I am not interested in Elliot waves.

Anyway just my 2 cents.

I concur with Leon,I believe that any strategy can be automated(though not fully), I prefer semi-automated trading systems where you can mix both naked and indicators to work together....
CJ's method is not elliot wave counts, it's better than elliot waves as it breaks the market down into sections and parts that are independent of the other and no bloody rules like in eliot waves, I hate rules......
Cj turned abstract forex into mechanical parts we can dissect, analyse and digest into our various realities..

I think the question by SH was if anybody made real money with this information, not trading microlots but life changing money. It looks like sympathy probably did. Anybody else? Although I don't know why would anyone volunteer this information. If you are a full time trader then you already beyond the point of bragging about growing your account or 5-10 successful trades. You would rather keep quiet about your returns no matter where you live...

Why would anyone here want or need to convince someone else to use this or that method or system? You know everything you post can be picked apart and use to disprove itself.

One of the reasons this thread is so damn amazing that people come back to it is it was created in the spirit of sharing and everyone was treated with friendliness, am I wrong?

If someone comes asking for knowledge, you get a chart and people willing to explain it.

If someone comes asking for proof? Then who is raising whose eyebrow? Isn't that backwards? You have to apply the concepts yourself and take what works for you. If it does then "Hurray"!

If you demand something, you get nothing.

Consider this: Who in their right mind would keep a trading account with a "life changing" balance with one broker just to prove a point to some bloke on the internet?

This thread and CJ have done more for the financial independence of a friend of mine that anyone else I have met in my life. But, you really do need to delve into it. Get rid of the clutter, annotate what you think you see on your charts, dip your toe into the water with a few orders and you will begin to see what you want to see. Begin on the HTF and look for an entry at the top or bottom, use it as your anchor and bank on it with stacking.

Leon, it is likely you.. still insisting to use stuff you used before, that keeps your vision clouded. In fact, it is not reading the thread but applying every single bit of knowledge shared here. You need to brainwash yourself to grasp this until all the details get to their right place and be remembered when needed. If you cant look at a chart quickly running through your mind all the checkpoints you need to think of then it is not gonna work. It is an immense amount of work, belief and understanding, at least to me it has been. Lost faith several times, even recently, but all crisis leads to another enlightment, realization. If you cant see that eventually the technique is near perfect but you as a trader fail only, then there is much more to learn about the strategy. I see the strategy working but see my own faults clearly. This strategy points cruelly to traders faults and nearly all failed trades just tell me that there is a lot more to work on myself. Told many times over and over... As for me, this is my last post here due to some recent events that I do not personally like to see. I stay only if I get an explanation from Steve himself.

To me, your chart is the most informative chart I've seen in this forum so far. I needed 4H chew up and I received it from you, I think no one else posted before a juicy run for 3 levels on 4H. Kudos to you and your friend.

I've read CJ's posts multiple times. For some reason your chart made something click in my head. Still many questions but I clearly see where I am in a cycle on almost every chart. The door No 1 opened - I am happy.

Have you tried to do the same on each of the previous 3 peaks?

Thanks for your comprehensive replies, it's all good guys.

Dy, I have long supported Ea's being put into the mix. I think Peaky has done a great job so far in simulating naked trading, if we cannot be at our work stations all the time. It takes a great deal of stress off our shoulders. I look at peaky on steroids with Gertje, the driving force behind it and more recently Steve and Slopey Peaky Bob doing a great job.

I do not take anything away from the personal touch, and Rewand I know you are good at it and you are a true scholar of CJ's methods. Maybe, if I was enthusiastic years ago, I would speak on the same page as you. I just can't because I am too new at this, and all hats off to you :hi: I do believe however, that you are one of the few that has shared knowledge here and once again, thank you. I do encourage you to keep on posting. Maybe I am superstitiuos, but if you give you recieve and nothing should be given on a silver platter, hence homework should be done by all who wish to follow this method. The problem however is that there are just no more tutors to guide and correct prospective followers of this method. I just see how well traders are doing but no one is correcting and helping others trying to get in. I am sure all of you had guidance when you started following CJ. So maybe we are at a stalemate, where nobody wants to help anyone because it is just too late in the thread.

Besides CJ, I always hear you guys talking of the great role models in this thread and people you have learnt from, where are they?. At this point in time there is no role model.

It really is up to someone to step up, take the lead and guide others. If CJ comes back, then great but someone has to take the lead.

Just food for thought and something to take into the future of this thread, thats if we want to see it survive.
