Set your TradeLotsPerDollopOfcash=0 and it will use the lotsize

What do you guys think is the best way to handle trades where price is going against you?
I don't like the recovery option cause it's to static.
So using FB in conjunction with SS?
I took the set file from page 1 but there is none of the option (FB/SS or recovery) activated...

I am missing something?

Yes, watching this thread with lots of interest.

I have a demo (3SS_VC) going and today the daily profit target was 49.41 as soon as I got the target, the EA shows daily cash profit so far today = 50.30 and a new Daily profit target = 50.42, so the EA is trying to open new trades again, although the original daily profit target was hit.

I manually stopping the EA till midnight, is there a way of preventing opening of new trades, if the original daily target was hit?

Could be the same problem a few of us had and Pandaboy solved here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 80#p161605 it seems to be caused by the 10sec delay before action, (at least thats my theory) price moves rapidly up or down near the target so you end up over or under. Worked for me also I am still using V1b as I have said before too many updates varients to keep track of.

Thanks C1borg, I changed it to use this tip / workaround.

I am note a Empty4 coder, but maybe the daily profit should just be calculated ones, at the beginning of the day, then it all would probably be going as planned. :youknow:

Yes, you have tradepositiveswap set to true

Try loading the EA on a pair that's not being used such as XAUUSD

Now I'm trying it on EURSGD. Not condition yet.
Interesting that as long as it was the trigger Gann HiLo, EA working correctly.

Yet another 100% winning week, the additional tweeks to the dollup settings seem to have worked and its closing trades in line with my live a/c now which has a lower balance and the targets are not so challenging. I didnt trade my live account today as its a Friday before a bank holiday and the old "danger, danger Will Robinson" phrase went off in my head

. The demo sailed through just as normal and has already closed for the week

should have traded doh!

I have added a V3+ setfile to page 1 for anyone who wants it which is the one I am now using with the minor tweaks. I am still using AwesomeSS V1b, I think the next project will be to tidy it up and add new code, not sure how to accomplish this yet but I have some ideas.
