As the EA is driven by a timer and the timer can not be started, the EA does nothing. If you are running your demo on a VPS, you have probably run out of resources (handles).

Thanks Tomele! Yes it is on a VPS, besides upgrading the VPS is there anything to change this for the better?

As far as I know, this can be an issue for VPSs with MS server as operating system. What is your operating system on the VPS?

Empty4 cant even run more than 2 on 1g, n i have purposely reduce the footprint by setting max chart in history n max chart in bars to just 200 when i needed it for mql subscription of signals (not running EA thus no decision to make, just copy trades from provider), and i run out of juice n got stuck n cant even login need rescue by vps provider running 3 Empty4 all with small footprints. U need a 2g to run at least 3-4 depending on what you need to run. If its just subscription to signals and u knew how to reduce the cpu usage, u can run like 5-6 and u would hv max it out. Most of the forum's EA here are cpu "hoggers" they make a lot of intelligent decisions to get our $$$, if u run abt 3 Empty4 running EA from here, it will maybe survive (on 2g), beyond that, i would suggest u need more ram, 4g ram should be plenty upto 8-10.

Just to remind that it could be risky, my demo starts to work at 8 am GMT, and i'm stuck with a drawdown of 50 % from 30 may 2018, like in fxtestify. I'm using c1borg set file.

So the start time is ESSENTIAL.

What is your dollops setting?

I had max 35% dd and it was due to taking trades in the Euro session using 0.01 lot on a 1000 account.

Today my first trade opened at 01 AM and all trades closed at 04 AM with 0.02 lot on a 1000 account.

I'm in large drawdown, 30 %. I'm stuck since 30 may.

But my baskets open at 8:00 GMT, so C1borg if your baskets closed and profit, you see the OPEN HOUR IS VERY IMPORTANT.

From my own myfx it seems the time from 0100 onwards is better (this is GMT+3 IC server time n my vps=IC server time to avoid confusion). Try not to include 00.00-00.30 as prices are not very liquid and can cause poor fills. If you set from 0100 onwards then try what c1borg suggest eliminate the top 4 non performing pairs.
From Thu 7/jun I still hv a floating dd of 14+%. I was considering whether trading 5m + 15m might have contributed to this higher dd%. If others have traded with eg 1H as well as other timing, pls share your results perhaps we can tune EA to reduce the dd%. But awss is a tenacious gal, she will hold her trades till she get there with her basket profit target.

Excellent analysis both my Demo's are in drawdown atm the EA usually recovers up to as much as 3 days later. I have to leave V3 alone as a datum point remember in post 1

I have attached the EA for everyone to try and my original V3 setfile as I would like to see if anyone can match or better my results using this EA.

it could go bust and still amazes me it has got to 50 days. I can see already it needs tinkering to make it hands free and there are many important variables to try, thats the purpose of the DB. Important variables to try are imo

• Start time
  Sluper Slope settings
  Dollup
  Recovery
  Gaps between orders
  Amount of orders
  Margin % before no further trades
  Entry point (I have seen bad entry points using the Budha)
  etc...

My live a/c is not in trouble atm and moving towards daily basket close as I write this, why? Its because I manually intervene Just one good feature I have spotted is if you remove the worst performing trade its replaced by another usually better one. Then the EA keeps shutting baskets until target is reached.

That's amazing what version of the EA? I've suspected you can raise the % do you manually close bad trade's?
