Its only for testing I realise the EA closes its own trades successfully .

Another worrying recent observation is I fear we are losing the race with SPB as most interest/resources seem to be naturally heading over there . I may have to join them to improve SPB, although AwesomeSS imho given the backing could have been just as good or better .

The good news is my retirement setup which is a 10K account using AwesomeSS is working and made last week approx £100/day or £500/week As long as I reinvest this will grow week on week and month on month :youknow:

I think Awesome is good so far.

I like to spread my investments over different types of EAs.

If we could avoid the long-duration drawdowns of Awesome then it would be nice, although 14 days dd which is my max is acceptable.

I think Rene en Tomele will be open to any suggestion for testing AWSS if you have a specific setting in mind.
Further, it is easy to open several Empty4's and do some extended testing yourself.

We all know that there are three major volume areas a day, the Asian opening, then the Frankfurt-London opening, and the US session. If they accumulate during the Asian session (slow down or up move) then they usually take it the opposite direction at the London-Frankfurt opening, and again a new direction at the US session. If the direction of the Asian and Europe session is the same, then usually the US gives a new direction.

I tried to work with the above in my settings. So I want to take one basket closure in the Asian session, one in the European session and one in the US session, even when they are three smaller baskets. Unfortunately we can only have one start time. So I start my basket at the Asian opening, let it run during the Asian and European session, if flat I restart just before the volume comes in at the US session, by entering a higher daily profit target. So far this worked great.

My question, is it possible to have two or more starting times for the EA? (only restart if last basket is closed, we are flat the market)

second that, or for those more willing to take risks may even work well with 3, Asian, Euro and NY.

So far my demo has been closing max of 4hrs n my own observation is that spreads, price levels and vol can help to let AWSS get 1% faster. I have yet to explore pandaboy's setting of 1.8% (per his setfile that he had shared with me), but I have to consider the highest dd that this will turn up.
