Thanks Eaymon. How do we restart it?

When you login to the client portal you should see a button on your dashboard that will restart your server once pressed.

No it didn't. It took me a long time to find the page where I could do this. After much faffing around, I eventually arrived here:

I am talking a lot of faffing around here before I finally arrived at the screen that would allow me to restart the damn platform. I was starting to get seriously irritated.

You are offering a fabulous product Eaymon and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all SHF members. It would be a help if you could get the bog-basic stuff right so that members falling foul of your bloops do not conclude that I am an idiot for doing so.

Thats my fault for not providing clear instructions... sorry!

That being said, your feedback is appreciated and i'll look into making it easier to use. if you have any other comments or suggestions I am always looking for ways to improve my service!

Restarting did the trick. I had also lost the ability to copy/paste from desktop to vps and back; the restart solved that as well.

I will try a restart next time something is not working properly. As a general rule, is this something we should all do from time to time?

Let me know before you do... sometimes a reset helps clear the memory/cache with windows 7 but I rather it not be the solution for everything if I can find a better fix...

My server restarted overnight, not your fault as my laptop did the same

So I had to manually restart the Empty4's thismorning.

I think you mentioned in the past you have a solution to this like the Beeks pom here https://support.beeksfx.com/index.php?/ ... vps-reboot

Is that correct? If so can I have a copy

Yes I do, if I remember correctly I included the details of setting that up in the server ready email.
