Hi folks,

Has anyone used this EA on the Rakuten Australian Empty4 platform? The platform uses a postscript "austd" (e.g GBPUSDaustd) on all it's symbols. The EA has issues creating trades with these long postscripts on their symbols, I included the characters in the symbol list but I have only been seeing screen flickers bcos the Ea cannot handle these long characters

I've modified Bruster400's Indicator "sixth_SQ".
User can choose bar count to look back and also chart divisor value, instead of fixed sixth.
In this example GN Daily, indi looks back 500 bars and divides the distance from PH to PL to 10.

I hope I don't offend Bruster400 for modifying his great indi.

Hi Aworex,

Do a search for "AddChar = StringSubstr(Symbol(),6,4)" Line 596 - Change the 4 to a 5 because you have 5 characters in your suffix.

Glad that Leon's fix worked for you, but are you sure you should be trading with these cowboys?

We have spent a long, long time at SHF developing safety-first mechanisms yet you appear to be trading with cowboys who appear to have found a way around at least one of them.

You are supposed to be someone whose voice can be trusted here. Yet you appear to be trading with a firm of cowboys rather than our trusted Global Prime. And yet you are an Aussie. Are you merely an idiot who once conned me into thinking you are not an idiot?

I opened an account with Rakuten last month to get round the EMSA regulations, now in place. I was with FXCM before and might open an account with Global Prime since they are based in Australia. I am not an Aussie, but based in the UK.

I am also in the UK as are many others and my Live accounts are with;
1) Global Prime.
2) IC Markets.

I have added this note to post 1:

Note about disabling time frames; make sure you do this from the trade 4 time frame upwards i.e. TradeTF4=false first, then TradeTF3=false and so on. PoS will stall unless you do this.

I have reverted to V 1i in post 1. I tried to sort out the 1j array out of range error but LUC came round with all its buddies for the bender of the decade, so I gave up. 1i has the additional lines of code that I mentioned the other day.

Someone here was talking about automating the sixths or some such; I didn't understand. I have time on my hands now that school has broken up, so if you would care to explain in short sentences containing one syllable words, I will see what I can do.

Since v1 reverted in post 1 - the recovery code lines under
UseRecovery[tfTotal] = Trade2UseRecovery;
UseRecovery[tfTotal] = Trade3UseRecovery;
UseRecovery[tfTotal] = Trade4UseRecovery;
are missing again for trades 2-4.
