Been over a month without a profit on live money. Small account is margin calling positions. It can't possibly recover here for me. It was a good run though.

If possible please share your account and lot size, it's valuable info.
Do you think it would been different if the account was bigger?

Omar, everything is different if the account is bigger. I would have though that was a tad on the blindingly obvious side.

Little live accounts are a great way of testing ideas. Demo accounts only take us so far.

The test account amount was $500 and had no profits on it at all. Once it hit 50 positions I knew it was in trouble. There's no sense even trying to salvage it. I'm happy to do my part by forward testing live accounts for the benefit of folks here when I can. It does make me wonder whether there is an optimum turn on time for bringing a new account online.

My current DD is just over £200 and my worst before that was £150'ish but is made some good profits between that. I am trading 0.01 lots, so smaller accounts might be a problem if you happen to start when a DD starts especially if you don't have a high leverage account.

It is going to be a great lesson to watch carefully, see what the markets do and watch how SPB handles the changes. For the first time ever my live account that runs SPB and one other little EA that only takes a trade or two a day at 0.01 lots, is over 20% in DD.
Watching with interest and hoping to learn from this so that we can possibly find a manner to negate this or at least counter it to some degree?

This week I tried SPB with Peaky 1H/250 candles, but obviously without any big success. GBPJPY ruined the party.

On the other hand, my ages old Awesome was successful. It's usually successful when SPB is down.

My SPB demo is over 50% DD but all but one of my Awesome setups made amazing profits with little drawdown

. There is a Peaky switch in the Awesome SS EA which I am also testing.
