Maybe just me as 36 downloads so far, but the Master Template doesn't work, the EA is not there, so it is basically a screenshot. See picture below, but not a big deal, just amazing no one reports it.

Probably the best way to share settings would be a " set " file of the EA as it is the only thing on the XAUUSD chart, it would have to be the same for everyone; experienced users, please comment if this is better or not, thanks. With the Open all charts feature, and the correct chart template, should work fine. At any rate, I believe I have the same set up as you now.

I will post a picture of the TDesk chart showing the indicators; I assume all default settings for all?

I notice everyone names their template TDesk which can be a problem; my suggestion is to make it unique, eg. TDesk_WG when posting

Questions: No stop loss? You got through last Friday's wild gyrations on the GBP okay? No take profit either? Yesterday there was more gyrations and I seem to be the wrong way on most trades, do you have any open now? I will show the current state of the signals although I realize it is almost 2 am in SA

I added this thread to the TDesk getting started thread assuming that everything was in place. Is it, or do I need to hang on for a day or two?

My apologies. Yesterday, I updated post 1 with the TDesk master v 1.4 template and subsequently Thomas updated TDesk to v 1.5. All corrected now.

I have also updated the TDesk trade chart template to include Rsi crossover TD v2 in post one.

Hi John I downloaded my template on post1 to a different platform and broker and no problems on my side. Let me know if the latest v1.5 template loads correctly on your side.

Your settings look correct on your chart. Your chart simply has to pick up all my template settings on your side. I have never seen it work any other way. I don't see a need to post a setting for every indicator I have. You can load the latest chart template if you want to include the Rsi cross over in your overall signal. Thomas has posted the Rsi TD v2 Indicator exactly as per my settings and so no need to re download, just attach the indicator default setting to your chart.

I am using a hedging approach. All have their own style of trade management. You can choose to use a stoploss. You can close on an opposite signal or flat signal or you can use a trail stop. My approach is to close winning trades on a reversal signal and hedge losing pairs until they show a profit. All on demo testing and experimental. I have discussed my approach previously and realize it will not be for all and I would love to see inputs from more members here as to what approaches they use and the outcomes of it. I was caught on the wrong side with the Fed meeting outcome. This is good because now it will put my system to the full test .

Leon, just fyi, the template "TDesk Master.tpl" has a reference to tdesk(8).ex4 instead of tdesk.ex4.
So loading it simply 'paints' the EA on a chart, but no EA is loaded and an error message in the experts tab points to the problem.
Diy solution, one can edit the template, search for tdesk(8) and replace it with tdesk

Thanks very much, you are a star :hi: . I see now, this has to be the root cause of all the download problems. I have downloaded TDesk Ea version updates without deleting the previous versions and therefore keeps adding on my side. Would be ok on my side but not on the user side. I am so sorry Guys. Stupid oversight on my part.

Did anyone get overall profit from trades opened this week, not before, by original system with or without TDesk signals?
I can't reproduce last week's success. Even not close to that.
I believe there are some weeks up and some down. I wonder is it only in my side or I am not alone.

The new version still has that interesting issue, where you have to "reset" the TDesk chart to refresh the signals - either switch between the timeframes, but i usually just close down the Empty4 and re-open it regulary. I've seen this with the old version, too. First i used the TDesk on my laptop and for the last few days I'm running everything on VPS - but the issue still exists. Basically you can see some signals change when you freshly re-open the chart.

Hi Zolie,Thomas has added the function "ignore open candle" in the V2 indicators. Basically it should not change when changing time frames. If you set it to false you revert back to the first indicator. I am still testing to see if setting ignore open candle to true will be beneficial for me.
At any rate it has never bothered me. When I get a signal I refresh my TDesk master. I open the hourly chart and always go to the daily t/frame first to get a birds eye view from a higher t/frame perspective and drill down to to the 4hr t/frame and then hourly t/frame. Just out of habit but a good one I think.

Looks like the signal refresh issue has been addressed and fixed, using now the v1.5 of the TDesk.

I closed about -120 pips in total on Monday / Tuesday with the old system and then i started to mess with the newer Tdesk version and it's v2 indicators.

I couldn't trade on Wednesday, cause i screwed up the platform and i had no time to fix until late evening of Wednesday. But of course, as i checked the signals for the whole day, it seemed to be a massive profitable day with good jumps in the favor of the signals.


Today i'm back with the new V2 indis and Tdesk v1.5 running currently in about of +100 pips total profit, but it's fluctuaing up and down.... minutes earlier it was -20 pips total, few minutes after it's back to +100 pips... what a day

This week so far with 28 pairs.
I use a grid EA to manually open orders. DD has been less than 2% despite this week had some high impact news. Going live next week with 8 pairs. During the time,i will mix the orders with TDesk signals too which i have it in another demo.
