Attached is a pdf that explains how to use the indi we have all come to know as 'Peaky'. Also attached is a zip file of the panoply of scripts I developed for manual trading, along with the indi itself. There is a document inside the zip file explaining what the scripts do.
You will have TDesk.mqh in your Include folder once you have set up TDesk, but there will be occasions where you want Peaky for testing systems that are not compatible. Peak HiLo indicator non-TDesk.mq4 will work without TDesk.mqh
There is an input in the Sixths section of the the TDesk version that I have not included in the user guide. This enforces trading only from within the top and bottom sixths - EnforceFirstSixthTradingZone. Enable this and Peaky will only send a long signal to TDesk if the market is within the bottom sixth, and a sell signal if within the top sixth.

Steve, just came across your indicator attached above, and was going to use it on just a normal chart on Empty4, but is is not working. It's probably to do with the fact that you have amended it to be compatible with TDesk. Have you still got the original version that works on its own without having to use it via TDesk? If not, no worries. Thanks

I find it hard to imagine differences when I have it working fine on my side with TDesk. Check your history downloads. Tread careful mate and do some research into this indicator, Steve has done much in developing this indicator over the last year or so.

The Peaky bit of SPB shows up white if the price is in the wrong half of the Hi Lo range. This was an inspired idea from you that is probably an important part of SPB's success. As you might expect using the Peak HiLo TD indi on TDesk it simply shows a green (up) or red (down) arrow. As it is we can't emulate SPB on TDesk and experiment from there.
Can the Peaky TD indi be easily adjusted to incorporate this feature?
If not then please forget I asked, I know how busy you are hammering out the lumps on Desky.

Any colour changes in Peaky's display are purely coincidental and depend on the colour of the last trendline you or some other piece of software drew on your chart.
I will cheerfully entertain some sort of colour coding in the future. Not right now ok? Still doing battle with Desky's bugs whilst entering one of those busy periods in my day job. I am sure you will condone me concentrating on Desky in the little time I have for coding over the next two weeks.
