Unable to attach an EA to a chart

Weird, and all of a sudden. I am on Eymon's VPS using his Windows 7 platform. I was going to update Slopey Peaky Bob to version 1W, but am unable to drag the EA onto the chart. I double clicked the EA - nothing, right click - nothing, hold-down click and drag - nothing. I tried File>Open Data Folder>Experts and deleted the mlqcache, closed everything down, then restarted Empty4. Nothing. I tried logging into the account again. It opens properly, but I still can't get the EA to load, not one bit. Tried a different chart - nothing. The Empty4 default EA's, such as MACD Sample, do open.

Any ideas?

Thanks, but I tried that already. For good measure I just went through it again a couple more times.

Just for grins, I opened a demo on my Windows 10 system and could load it fine with the exact same EA, but doesn't seem to work on the VPS. Maybe just a coincidence. I usually download EAs through Windows 10 to my desktop, then copy and paste into the FPS Win 7 desktop. Just to make sure nothing was getting lost in translation, I downloaded SPB directly through the VPS. No help.

Grasping at straws, I also tried resetting the VPS server.

I do see that the diamond on the EA is grayed out. Not really sure what that means, but I opened the EA in the Empty4 editor, then tried compiling it but it stayed grayed out. I'm sure these are all futile gestures, but I wanted to try everything I could before posting here again.

I guess the next thing is to open a fresh new instance of Empty4 and reload everything.

Your first screenie shows you are still trying to load an old, invalid template.
Your second screenie shows you don't have TDesk.mqh in your /include folder.

You don't want to try understand how all those thingies work, do you?
