Hi Bruster,

Your “HAS Trend” is a very clever and really useful indicator.
It is perfect when viewing the charts and doing MTF analysis and is very stable compared to other trend indicators.

For Tdesk when only following the signals I think a lightweight version can be useful as a complement.
Attached is Thomas’s “RSI Cross TD V2” modified to give the same signals as “HAS Trend”.

Please, check if the signals are accurate enough.

I have been looking at your Fisher indicators, actually, I think you have made good progress there. Ben I am mainly interested in the slope. I think this is a really useful indicator for making quite precise entries or exits but it can be useful as a trading context in higher TF's too. Right now I have a specific exit strategy I am working on which calls for the signal to be just slope, so either up or down. I had a look at the code you did for your version 'Fisher_yur4ik_NoRepSL TD V2 pg_v1'. It should be straightforward to take the neutral buffer out of this. Not sure about the levels either.

As a suggestion to start with just go for two versions one that does only slope and one that does zero cross as they are quite different things strategically. Later on if people want level filters that could be incorporated as well.

Full multi-time frame V2 will be great and perhaps Thomas will help with that once I can demonstrate the value of this indicator. I can use it as single time frame for now for the specific exit I have in mind.

Hi Guys,

Perhaps the simplest strategy I have ever followed. Attached find a system I have used for many years. If my daily Baluda super slope has crossed over I look for a stoch retrace and a crossover back in the direction of Baluda's super slope cross. When my stochs cross over with an Hgi trend arrow I am happy to open a trade. The stochs can cross anywhere below 50 back in the direction of superslope.

Below find an example of what I look at.

The indicator is the MTF stochs oscillator and I would be happy if anyone can make this TDesk compatible.

Attached indicator. For this I use stochs on the hourly timeframe settings 533 method; Lwma - 3, price 1 - close.

I believe that it can work well with gann and I know proven with the rest of my indicators.

Thanks Leon for sharing the SS-stoch-HGI trend setup - simple and clear and lovely combination of Super slope and the stoch oscillator. I am working with various similar combos.

Ben thanks again for help with the Fisher indicator. I will take it for a good spin next week in one of my trial TDesk setups. So far looking backwards on the charts it looks like it is working well and TDesk is reading the signal. So far in my forex trading career I have not made much money looking at charts going back in time, funny that...........But yeah will be great to test a few things thanks to your efforts.

Leon something I noticed with your setup. You have marked the upslope of Baluda SS day indy with a green mark and then later on in the chart when the Baluda SS is still long but slope difference is decreasing you have not marked the SS and there is no mark on the long turns of the Stoch. I take this to mean that you don't take the Stoch signals when the SS signal has reversed direction in terms of 'slope' or in other words you stop entering because the difference in currency strength is now reversing from your previous trading direction. Can you confirm that I am understanding this correctly, please.

I have often thought that we need a signal for when The SS slope reverses at the top of a move. Would be wonderful to have this as a 'flat' signal or close signal in a TD version. Could make a great exit indicator used in this way or in the case of use as a Day filter would be really helpful to keep us out of the flat or reversal parts of following a day trend. When you think about it this has been the undoing of the various trading strategies based on SS.

Christmas list: a TD v2 Baluda SS that fires a signal on cross at certain threshold (which we have now) and fires a close at change in slope.

Yes, you are understanding correctly. We have one of two things that are going to happen here. Gu might stall here and Baluda SS start sloping back up. At this point I will wait for Hgi buy arrow and stochs to be under 50 and crossing back up. On the flip side, If Baluda's superslope crosses back down I will patiently wait for and Hgi sell arrow signal and Stochs to be above 50 and crossing back down before I enter.

Yes, I agree. Could be very useful if it can be done.It could also be a good confirmation with HGi trend wavy or Hgi trend arrow in the opposite direction combined with Gann.

Now for the NOOB question.... Does your chart show Baluda with the stochs superimposed on top of it??
and if so how does one do this. I downloaded the indi but it opens in a seperate window.. Was going to PM but took a chance here.

Yes. You open Baluda superslope as you normaly would. I left click on the stochs indicator and hold my finger in on my mouse and drag it onto the Baluda superslope indicator window. Let go and the indicator will open up. You enter your settings and done. You have your overlay.
